Abstract
Time Saver Standards for Building Types in Daycare.

Humans who live in the natural environment are responsible for the formation of the surrounding ecosystem. The environment shapes the architecture in dealing with user problems. In the current conditions, the pandemic is a problem that should be paid attention to by the community so that people change their lifestyle to be more vigilant, maintain cleanliness, and always obey the rules. In addition, the human desire to minimize energy use is also a focus in supporting sustainability in the city center and has a major impact on human health. In this design process, the architectural issue raised is the value of the importance of health supported by the surrounding environment, more precisely focusing on turning points for the vulnerable groups of Covid-19 in facing post-pandemic life. This design will use the Trend Analysis method in the form of a focus on the design goal, which is supported by a socio-ecological approach. The focus in this design will be on sustainable design that is future-oriented, and socially centered. The design location is in the city of Surabaya, precisely Jl. Gebang Putih, with the middle to lower economic category. The city of Surabaya is a city in East Java which has long been known as the red zone, because of its dense population. Post-pandemic design features supporting health protocols, which can be seen in the form of mass transformation that is aerodynamic and in contact with outdoor spaces, facilities for washing hands with soap at several mass points, procurement of shower cubicles for the elderly, to the use of HVAC filters in Split AC air conditioning systems. . The outdoor area is an alternative space for active activities for children. All of these facilities are useful for meeting the needs of children during a pandemic, presenting a socio-ecological design that acts as a post-pandemic daycare center based on issues of parental trust, pandemic, and sustainability. Facilitating parenting knowledge and stable emotional development for parents and educators in Daycare, in accordance with the needs of building standard spaces in Daycare according to the Time Saver Standards for Building Types in Daycare.
