Abstract
Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan sintesis katalis NiO, CaFz dan NiO/CaFz dengan variasi loading Ni 2,5; 5; 7,5; 10 dan 15 % wlw telah dibuat dengan metode sol-gel. Padatan katalis dikarakterisasi strukturnya dengan XRD, uji keasaman katalis menggunakan metode FTIR-piridin dan luas permukaan (SBET) katalis diukur menggunakan metode Adsorpsi Nitrogen. Uji katalisis dilakukan pada reaksi sintesis vitamin E. Hasil karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan bahwa padatan CaFz dan NiO memiliki system kristal kubus. Katalis memiliki sifat asam Lewis maupun asam Br0nsted. Hasil pengukuran luas. Hasil uji katalisis menunjukkan katalis dengan loading 7,5% Ni memiliki selektivitas terbesar terhadap vitamin E sebesar 97,45%.

The NiO, Caf2 dan Ni0/Caf2 catalyst with 2.5; 5; 7.5; 10 dan 15 % wlw loading variation of Ni by a sol- gel method have been synthezised. The structure characterization of solid catalysts have been used XRD , the acidity test have been used FTIR-pyridin method and the surface area (SBET) of catalysts have been measured by Nitrogen Adsorption method. The Catalytic testing have been performed in the synthesis reaction of vitamin E. The XRD characterization showed the cubic system for NiO and Caf2. The catalysts have the Lewis and Br0nsted acid properties. The result showed the surface area (SBET) catalysts between 17,658 and 23,389 m2I g. The catalytic results show the highest selectivity catalyst (97,45%) for 7,5% Ni loading.
