Abstract
Sistem Informasi Geografis adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang berbasis komputer untuk melakukan analisa dan menampilkan informasi berdasarkan data geografis dipadukan dengan data pendidikan SMA di kola Surabaya. Sistem lnformasi Geografis ini dibuat berdasarkan data pendidikan SMA. yang berlokasi di kota Surabaya. Analisa yang dilakukan berdasarkan aturan yang dikeluarkan oleh Departemen Pendidikan Nasional, Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah. Data-data yang diperlukan berupa data penduduk usia sekolah, siswa, guru. sekolah dan wilayah geografis dari kota Surabaya. Hasil dari analisa berupa label dan peta. Hasil dari analisa dapat digunakan sebagai hahan pertimbangan dalan perencanaan pembangunan di bidang pendidikan khususnya SMA

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer-based information system for analyzing and displaying information based on geographic data combined with high school education data in Surabaya. This GIS is based on high school education data located in Surabaya. The analysis is based on regulations issued by the Ministry of National Education, Directorate General of Primary and Secondary Education. The required data includes school-age population, students, teachers, schools, and the geographic area of Surabaya. The results of the analysis are labels and maps. The results of the analysis can be used as considerations in development planning in the field of education, especially high schools
