Abstract

Banyuwangi memiliki potensi yang besar pada sektor pariwisata. Begitu banyak destinasi wisata yang menarik wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara. Hal ini sangat berdampak pada bisnis perhotelan. Setiap hotel berlomba-lomba untuk memiliki suasana, tema dan desain interior tersendiri yang mampu membuat pengunjung untuk merasa nyaman berada di hotel tersebut. Desain interior yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri memberikan pengunjung impresi tema hotel yang berbeda dengan hotel lainnya. Dalam hal ini diperlukan peninjauan kembali mengenai elemen interior sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan dan kenyamanan pengunjung Hotel Kalibaru Cottages. Konsep yang ditujukan pada Hotel Kalibaru Cottages ini adalah untuk meningkatkan identitas lokal dan pengenalan budaya terhadap pengunjung hotel dengan memaksimalkan fasilitas yang ada. Dengan menerapkan beberapa bentukan hasil budaya serta warna yang menjadi ciri khas kota Banyuwangi ini bertujuan agar pengunjung mengetahui akan budaya dan ciri khas dari Kota Banyuwangi itu sendiri. Metodologi yang diterapkan pada perancangan ini dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dan studi literatur dengan topik yang berkaitan. Hasil dari perancangan ulang ini diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang ada pada Hotel Kalibaru Cottages sehingga dapat menarik minat pengunjung baik dari dalam maupun luar Kota Banyuwangi. Desain Akhir berupa desain Hotel Kalibaru Cottages dengan perpaduan antara kesan modern dan sentuhan nuansa tradisional. Kesan modern ditampilkan melalui aspek furnitur, pencahayaan dan warna. Sedangkan sentuhan tradisional ditampilkan melalui bentuk-bentuk khas dari kebudayaan lokal Banyuwangi.

Banyuwangi has great potential in the tourism sector. So many tourist destinations attract local and foreign tourists. This has had a significant impact on the hotel business. Each hotel competes to have its own atmosphere, theme, and interior design that can make visitors feel comfortable in the hotel. The interior design with it’s characteristics gives visitors the impression of a hotel theme that differs from other hotels. In this case, it is necessary to review the interior elements in an effort to increase the interest and comfort of visitors to the Kalibaru Cottages Hotel. The concept aimed at Hotel Kalibaru Cottages is to increase local identity and cultural recognition for hotel visitors by
maximizing existing facilities. By applying several forms of cultural products and colors that characterize the city of Banyuwangi, it aims to make visitors aware of the culture and characteristics of the city of Banyuwangi. The methodology applied to this design is carried out by field observations and literature studies on related topics. The results of this redesign are expected to solve the problems that exist in the Kalibaru Cottages Hotel so that it can attract visitors from both inside and outside the city of Banyuwangi. The final design is the design of the Kalibaru Cottages Hotel, with a blend of modern impressions and a touch of traditional nuances. The modern impression is
displayed through aspects of furniture, lighting, and color. While the traditional touch is displayed through the typical forms of the local Banyuwangi culture.
