Abstract
Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surabaya mengembangkan Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) untuk mempermudah proses pendaftaran siswa dasar negeri secara daring. Sistem ini ditujukan bagi calon siswa atau wali murid agar dapat memilih sekolah tujuan dengan lebih efisien. Aplikasi ini menggunakan Laravel sebagai backend yang menangani logika bisnis, pengelolaan data, serta penyediaan RESTful API. Backend terhubung dengan MySQL dan dijalankan melalui NGINX dengan dukungan load balancing untuk memastikan kestabilan akses. Frontend dibangun menggunakan Next.js dengan metode Static Site Generation (SSG), sehingga halaman dapat dimuat lebih cepat dan responsif. Next.js mengambil data dari API Laravel dan menyajikannya dalam antarmuka yang ramah pengguna. Dengan integrasi teknologi ini, sistem SPMB diharapkan dapat mendukung layanan pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat.

The Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surabaya (Surabaya City Education Agency) developed the Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) (New Student Admission System) to streamline the online registration process for state elementary school students. This system is designed for prospective students or their guardians, allowing them to choose their desired school more efficiently. The application uses Laravel as the backend, which handles the business logic, data management, and provides a RESTful API. The backend is connected to MySQL and runs through NGINX with load balancing support to ensure stable access.The frontend is built using Next.js with the Static Site Generation (SSG) method, enabling pages to load faster and be more responsive. Next.js fetches data from the Laravel API and presents it in a user-friendly interface. Through the integration of these technologies, the SPMB system is expected to support education services that are more effective and easily accessible to the public.
