Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruption in various aspects. In Indonesia itself, the disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact, especially on the manufacturing industry. Some companies have even been forced to temporarily close their businesses due to the disruption experienced from the current COVID-19 pandemic. Disruptions to the supply chain are the company's biggest problem. The disturbance is getting worse with the implementation of a lockdown by the Indonesian government. Lockdown resulted in disruptions in the transportation of shipments and restrictions on the availability of goods sent. Falls in labor and prices reduce production capacity and producers, some of whom do not sell products and lead to large quantities of spoiled goods (World Bank, 2020) leaving consumers with a shortage of supplies. Finally, this causes consumers to experience panic buying. Not the result of a shortage of raw materials, this situation is one of the failures of the supply chain. The disruption due to COVID-19 has also affected supply chain resilience and resilience in some industries with supply shortages, lack of reactivity and production outages. So, with the application of supply chain risk management practices, it can help identify the main processes that the company might implement to increase the resilience and resilience of the supply chain in the company. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of implementing SCRM on companies to overcome supply disruptions due to COVID-19 by increasing supply chain resilience and resilience in companies. This study includes quantitative research using
primary data obtained from the results of questionnaires distributed to managers of manufacturing companies to answer questions regarding the role of supply chain risk management in their respective companies during COVID-19. 94 respondents completed the survey and 89 valid answers that will be used as research data. The survey results that have been completed were analyzed using PLS SEM. In this study, most of the survey results are in accordance with the findings in the literature. The findings show that the role of supply chain risk management has a positive effect on supply chain resilience and resilience, but only supply chain resilience has a positive effect on the impact of disruptions due to COVID-19, not supply chain resilience. The research results have been discussed and recommendations made for the company's future supply chain risk management strategy.
