Abstract
Proses Pembuatan kertas toilet tissue di PT Kertas Leces (Persero) melalui beberapa tahapan proses, salah satunya Adalah proses rewinder. Variabel proses dalam pembuatan kertas toilet tissue di mesin rewinder meliputi tekanan unwind, tekanan rider roll, dan kecepatan rewinder. Setting pada mesin rewinder mempunyai pengaruh sangat besar pada proses rewinding. Oleh karena itu, untuk menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas ataupun prosentase produk cacat yang rendah maka perlu setting an yang tepat. Untuk memperoleh setting yang tepat agar prosentase produk cacat rendah, maka akan dilakukan eksperimen dengan metode Taguchi Atribut. Dengan menggunakan metode ini ketiga variabel proses akan memiliki tiga level, oleh karena itu, dalam pelaksanaan eksperimen akan digunakan Orthogonal Array Lu. Hasil pengolahan data yang didapat dari eksperimen dalam penelitian ini menurijukkan setting optimal untuk Tekanan unwind = 1 bar, untuk Tekanan rider roll = 0, 75 bar dan untuk Kecepatan rewinder = 200 mpm. Hasil eksperimen konfirmasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan persentase cacat pada kertas toilet tissue yang diproduksi, yaitu dari 2,965% merijadi 2%. Begitu pula terjadi peningkatan persentase produk yang baik dari 92,55% merijadi 95%

The process of making toilet tissue paper at PT Kertas Leces (Persero) goes through several stages, one of which is the rewinder process. Process variables in making toilet tissue paper in the rewinder machine include unwind pressure, rider roll pressure, and rewinder speed. The settings on the rewinder machine have a very large influence on the rewinding process. Therefore, to produce quality products or a low percentage of defective products, the right settings are needed. To obtain the right settings so that the percentage of defective products is low, an experiment will be conducted using the Taguchi Attribute method. By using this method, the three process variables will have three levels, therefore, in the implementation of the experiment, Orthogonal Array Lu will be used. The results of data processing obtained from the experiments in this study indicate the optimal settings for unwind pressure = 1 bar, for rider roll pressure = 0.75 bar and for rewinder speed = 200 mpm. The results of the confirmation experiment conducted showed that there was a decrease in the percentage of defects in the toilet tissue paper produced, namely from 2.965% to 2%. Likewise, there was an increase in the percentage of good products from 92.55% to 95%
