Abstract

PT PLN Nusantara Power merupakan anak perusahaan PT PLN (Persero) yang mengelola pembangkit listrik. Pada kerja praktik ini dikembangkan sistem prediksi Remaining Useful Life (RUL) untuk pipa boiler yang berfungsi memantau umur pakai sisa komponen secara real-time. Data operasional seperti tekanan dan temperatur diambil melalui API Historian, disimpan ke PostgreSQL, diproses dengan menggunakan metode hoop stress dan Larson-Miller Parameter, dan ditampilkan melalui Ignition. Sistem yang dibangun mampu mengambil data periodik, tanpa duplikasi, serta menghasilkan prediksi RUL yang konsisten. Metode clip digunakan agar hasil lebih stabil saat terjadi fluktuasi suhu. Hasil perhitungan dan visualisasi berjalan real-time. Dengan implementasi ini, perusahaan dapat mendukung pemeliharaan prediktif, mengurangi risiko kegagalan mendadak, dan memperkuat transformasi digital power plant.

PT PLN Nusantara Power is a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero) that manages power plants. In this internship, a Remaining Useful Life (RUL) prediction system was developed for boiler pipes to monitor the remaining service life of components in real time. Operational data such as pressure and temperature are collected via the API Historian, stored in PostgreSQL, processed using the hoop stress method and Larson-Miller Parameters, and displayed through Ignition. The system is capable of collecting periodic data without duplication and producing consistent RUL predictions. The clip method is used to stabilize results during temperature fluctuations. Calculations and visualizations are performed in real-time. With this implementation, the company can support predictive maintenance, reduce the risk of sudden failures, and strengthen the digital transformation of power plants.
