Abstract
Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) adalah metode cuci darah melalui peritoneum yang dilakukan secara mandiri oleh pasien di rumah untuk menggantikan fungsi ginjal. Metode ini membutuhkan pemantauan rutin agar kondisi pasien tetap terjaga dan komplikasi dapat dicegah sedini mungkin. Produk yang saya kerjakan saat melakukan Kerja Praktik adalah refaktorisasi Front-End pada aplikasi SahabatCAPD yang merupakan sebuah aplikasi berbasis website dan smartphone yang membantu proses pencatatan dan pemantauan pasien CAPD. Pengembangan website dilakukan menggunakan ReactJS dengan fokus pada peningkatan performa, keterbacaan kode, serta kenyamanan pengguna di berbagai perangkat. Ruang lingkup pekerjaan mencakup peningkatan UI/UX, penegasan type safety pada sisi Front-End, optimalisasi manajemen data dan cache menggunakan TanStack Query, serta penyederhanaan komunikasi Front-End–Backend. Hasilnya, antarmuka menjadi lebih responsif dan konsisten, alur data lebih andal, dan pembaruan informasi terasa real-time untuk mendukung tenaga medis dalam memantau kondisi pasien secara efektif.

Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) is a method of blood purification through the peritoneum that can be performed independently by patients at home to replace kidney function. This method requires regular monitoring to maintain the patient's condition and to prevent complications as early as possible. The product I worked on during my internship was the refactoring of the Front-End of the SahabatCAPD application, which is a web- and smartphone-based application designed to assist in recording and monitoring CAPD patients. The website development was carried out using ReactJS, focusing on improving performance, code readability, and user experience across various devices. The scope of work included UI/UX enhancement, reinforcement of type safety on the Front-End, optimization of data and cache management using TanStack Query, and simplification of Front-End–Backend communication. As a result, the interface became more responsive and consistent, data flow more reliable, and information updates felt real-time—supporting medical staff in effectively monitoring patients’ conditions.
