Abstract
Persaingan di segala bidang semakin ketat apalagi dalam bidang teknologi dan untuk memenuhi tuntutan jaman, industriindutri besar dan kecil harus mampu meningkatkan efektifitas kerja.Alat pembuat komponen kompor yang dulunya tidak efisien karena proses kerjanya membutuhkan mesin dan tenaga yang cukup besar, oleh karena itu direncanakan suatu dies untuk pembuatan komponen kompor yang ekonomis, yang meliputi proses desain dies. Setelah dilakukan analisa dan perhitungan untuk membentuk benda kerja dari bahan drum dengan tebal 1 mm dipergunakan dies dengan jenis progresive dies dan proses yang dilakukan adalah proses perching dan bending

Competition in all fields is getting tighter, especially in the field of technology, and to meet the demands of the times, large and small industries must be able to increase work effectiveness. The tools for making stove components were previously inefficient because the work process required large machines and energy, therefore a die was planned for making economical stove components, which includes the die design process. After conducting analysis and calculations to form the workpiece from drum material with a thickness of 1 mm, progressive dies were used and the process carried out was the perching and bending process
