Abstract
Danau Batur merupakan salah satu danau terbesar yang ada di Indonesia dengan potensi pariwisata yang tinggi, tetapi dengan kondisi pandemi yang melanda dunia tingkat pariwisata di Daerah Danau Batur menurun. Tugas Akhir ini bermaksud untuk mendesain whirlpool tub boat sehingga nantinya bisa menjadi referensi bagi pengunjung dan menarik hasrat wisatawan. Selain itu berfungsi sebagai acuan pengembangan alternatif tujuan wisata air. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pengambilan data secara sekunder dilanjutkan menentukan skema operasional, payload, ukuran utama, analisis teknis, dan analisis ekonomis kapal. Proses desain yang dimaksud meliputi penentuan ukuran utama awal sampai penentuan ukuran utama akhir yang sesuai untuk whirlpool tub boat. Proses penentuan ukuran utama yang sesuai meliputi penentuan kebutuhan listrik, komponen LWT dan DWT, freeboard, stabilitas dan trim. Dari proses analisis teknis didapatkan ukuran utama yang sesuai untuk WTB adalah L=10.5 m, B=3 m, H=1.3 m, T=0.65 m berkapasitas 6 orang. Sedangkan pada analisis ekonomis dilakukan perhitungan besarnya biaya pembangunan, estimasi Payback Period (PP), Net Present Value (NPV) dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Besarnya biaya pembangunan Whirlpool Tub Boat adalah sebesar Rp. 304,335,203.03 dengan estimasi PBP terjadi pada tahun ke 8 bulan ke 10 operasional, serta nilai NPV sebesar Rp. 119,310,000,00 dan IRR sebesar 20.28% untuk jangka waktu investasi selama 10 tahun.

Lake Batur is one of the largest lakes in Indonesia and has popular tourism potential, but the global pandemic has contributed to a decrease in tourism in the Lake Batur area. The purpose of this final project is to design a whirlpool boat which can be used as a tourist attraction in the future. In addition, it serves as a site for developing alternative maritime tourism destinations. The method involves with the collecting of secondary data and is followed by the decision of the operational plan, cargo, primary size, technical analysis, and ship economic analysis. The design process in concern includes the initial main size all the way up to the final main size appropriate for the Whirlpool Tub Boat. The main sizing method takes into account electrical requirements, LWT and DWT components, freeboard, and trim. Based on the technical study, the optimum primary sizes are L = 10.5 m, B = 3 m, H = 1.3 m, T = 0.65 m, with a capacity of 6 passengers. The calculation of the total amount of development costs, expected Payback Period (PBP), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) are included in the economic analysis. The cost of constructing a Whirlpool Tub Boat is Rp. 304,335,203.03, with an expected PBP coming in the eighth year and the tenth month of operation, and an NPV value of Rp. 119.310,000.00 and an IRR of 20.28% for a ten-year investment period.
