Abstract

Dalam sebuah perusahaan, perawatan mutlak diperlukan untuk berjalannya sebuah operasional kerja yang kontinyu. Salah satu strategi perawatan yang digunakan adalah preventive Maintenance. Preventive Maintenance bisa dilakukan dengan melakukan interval perawatan (time base) atau dengan kondisi monitoring. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas bagaimana penentuan interval waktu perawatan dari sistem pulveriser. Pengoptimalan di dasarkan atas nilai keandalan dari komponen pada sistem pulveriser dikombinasikan dengan berbagai kriteria dari sifat keandalan sistem itu sendiri. Kriteria tersebut antara lain kelemahan design, kerusakan material, cacat dalam proses manufaktur dan kondisi operasional. Hasil dari penelitian adalah interval waktu perawatan yang optimum dari program preventive maintenance sebesar 3000 jam. Interval waktu tersebut lebih pendek dibandingkan dengan kebijakan dari perusahaan yang diterapkan yaitu sebesar 3500 jam

n a company, maintenance is absolutely necessary for continuous work operations. One maintenance strategy used is preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance can be carried out by implementing maintenance intervals (time-based) or by monitoring conditions. This final project will discuss how to determine the maintenance time interval for a pulverizer system. Optimization is based on the reliability value of the components in the pulverizer system combined with various criteria of the system's reliability properties. These criteria include design weaknesses, material damage, defects in the manufacturing process, and operational conditions. The results of the study are that the optimum maintenance time interval for the preventive maintenance program is 3,000 hours. This time interval is shorter than the company's policy of 3,500 hours
