Abstract

Sistem penyejuk udara atau AC mobil sudah menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi manusia untuk mendapatkan kenyamanan dalam berkendara. Dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi sebagai pengganti freon pada AC mobil dapat digunakan sistem absorbsi dari air dan lithium bromida. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini digunakan sebuah mesin pendingin AC yang terdiri absorber, generator, heat exchanger, kondensor, katupekspansi, dan evaporator dengan menggunakan refrigeran R-718.Pada evaporator tersebut terdapat blower sehingga udara yang mengenaiface area lebih besar. Untuk merencanakan tersebut digunakan evaporator kering jenis plate fin and tube, temperatur evaporasi 10 °C, denga ukuran 0,375 inch Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh dari perhitungan didapatkan panjang kondensor keseluruhan 2 m

The car's air conditioning system or AC has become an important need for humans to get comfort in driving. With the development of science and technology as a substitute for freon in car AC, an absorption system of water and lithium bromide can be used. In this Final Project, an AC cooling machine is used which consists of an absorber, generator, heat exchanger, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator using R-718 refrigerant. On the evaporator there is a blower so that the air that hits the face area is larger. To plan this, a dry evaporator of the plate, fin and tube type was used, with an evaporation temperature of 10 °C, with a size of 0.375 inches. So the results obtained from the calculation obtained an overall condenser length of 2 m
