Abstract

Industri galangan kapal nasional merupakan unsur utama untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kelayakan kapal melalui perawatan dan perbaikan dengan fasilitas reparasi kapal. Tiap galangan kapal menawarkan biaya reparasi yang berbeda-beda, terlebih lagi jika reparasi kapal dilakukan di pulau yang berbeda, terutama antara Pulau Jawa dan luar Pulau Jawa. Dengan mengetahui kondisi perbedaan biaya reparasi kapal di galangan kapal Pulau Jawa dan luar Pulau Jawa beserta dengan faktor yang memengaruhi perbedaannya, maka seorang ship owner dapat memiliki referensi ataupun acuan dalam memilih galangan reparasi untuk docking kapalnya. Data reparasi kapal diambil dari galangan kapal di Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Kalimantan, dengan pengambilan data dan survey langsung ke PT.ABC, PT.DEF, dan PT. GHI yang terletak di Pulau Jawa dan PT. JKL, PT. MNO, serta PT. PQR yang terletak di Pulau Kalimantan. Setelah data didapatkan, lalu diolah untuk mendapatkan perbedaan biaya rata-rata reparasi kapal di galangan kapal Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Kalimantan yang menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, biaya reparasi kapal di galangan kapal Pulau Jawa lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan biaya reparasi di galangan kapal Pulau Kalimantan. Namun bila dilihat secara detil, ada pula beberapa biaya aktivitas reparasi kapal di galangan kapal Pulau Kalimantan yang lebih tinggi. Setelah data perbedaan selesai diolah, dilakukan identifikasi faktor yang menyebabkan terbentuknya perbedaan biaya reparasi tersebut, dan hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan biaya reparasi kapal di galangan kapal Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Kalimantan dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan biaya jasa, angka produktivitas, peletakkan galangan secara geografis, rantai pasok material, serta kelengkapan, kualitas, dan kapasitas fasilitas penunjang reparasi pada galangan kapal.

The national shipbuilding industry is the main element to meet the needs of shipworthiness through maintenance and repairs with ship repair facilities. Each shipyard offers different repair costs, especially if the ship repair is carried out on different islands, especially between Java and outside Java. By knowing the condition of differences in ship repair costs in shipyards in Java and outside Java along with the factors that influence the difference, a ship owner can have a reference or reference in choosing a repair shipyard for docking his ship. Ship repair data were taken from shipyards in Java and Kalimantan, with data collection and direct surveys to PT. ABC, PT. DEF, and PT. GHI which is located on the island of Java and PT. JKL, PT. MNO, and PT. PQR which is located on the Kalimantan. After the data is obtained, then it is processed to obtain the difference in the average cost of ship repairs at the shipyards in Java Island and Kalimantan Island which shows that overall, the cost of repairing ships at the shipyards in Java Island is higher than the cost of repairs at the shipyards in Kalimantan Island. However, when viewed in detail, there are also some higher costs of ship repair activities in shipyards on the Kalimantan Island. After the difference data has been processed, the identification of the factors that cause the difference in repair costs to form, and the identification results show that the difference in ship repair costs at the shipyards in Java and Kalimantan is influenced by differences in service costs, productivity figures, geographical location of the shipyards, supply chains. materials, as well as the completeness, quality, and capacity of repair support facilities at the shipyard.
