Abstract
Telah dilakukan uji kine1ja generator Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) pada PLTMH Turbin Ulir Archimedes Karanganyar. Generator BLDC bekerja dengan prinsip GGL induksi Faraday yang sesuai pada RPM rendah. Karakter generator tersebut digunakan sebagai solusi converter energi pada PLTMH yang bekerja pada RPM rendah. Spesifikasi PLTMH tersebut adalah turbin ulir Archimedes dengan tiga bilah, sudut elevasi 40° dan rasio gear transmisi 2,8: !.Turbin ulir dengan diameter dalarn (inner) Di 14,02 em diameter luar (outer) Do 23,9 em , pitch 25,67 em dan panjang 51,34 em. Generator yang digunakan adalah generator Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) 3 fasa. Behan yang digunakan adalah larnpu LED 12 Volt dengan daya 5, 10, 15, dan 20 Watt. Hasil pengujian pada debit 0.00634 m3/s, adalah RPM tanpa beban 1001 rpm, RPM saat pembebanan (559,7 ± 0,4) rpm. Torsi yang dihasilkan adalah (1,738 ± 0,010) Nm. Tegangan rangkaian terbuka (21 ,00 ± 0,03) V , tegangan rangkaian tertutup (11 ,742 ± 0,009) V, arus listrik (0,670 ± 0,002) A, daya mekanik (36,408±0,202) Watt, daya listrik (7,86 ± 0,03) Watt dan efisiensi daya listrik terhadap daya mekanik 22 % .

The performance test of the Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) generator has been carried out on the Archimedes Screw Turbine PLTMH Karanganyar. The BLDC generator works on the principle of a Faraday induced emf at low RPM. The character generator is used as an energy
convener solution for PLTMH which works at low RPM. The PLTMH specification is an Archimedes screw turbine with three blades, an elevation angle of 40° and a transmission gear ratio of 2.8: 1. Screw turbine with an inner diameter of 14.02 em, an outer diameter of Do 23.9
em, a pitch of 25.67 em and a length of 51.34 em. The generator used is a 3-phase Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) generator. The load used is a 12 Volt LED lamp with 5, 10, 15, and 20 Watt power. The test results at a discharge of 0.00634 m3/s, are 1001 rpm without load, RPM under load (559.7 ± 0.4) rpm. The resulting torque is (1.738 ± 0.010) Nm. Open circuit voltage (21.00 ± 0.03) V , closed circuit voltage ( 11.742 ± 0.009) V, electric current (0.670 ± 0.002) A, mechanical power (36.408±0.202) Watts, electric power (7.86 ± 0 ,03) Watt and fficiency of electrical power to mechanical power 22% .
