Abstract

Forests in Central Kalimantan are dominated by heterogenous rubber forest which based on heterocultural community forest that holds high biodiversity, including mushroom-forming fungi which are very beneficial for possessing fruit bodies that are easily recognized as source of food, medicine, or avoided because of the toxicity. Research on diversity of Mushroom-forming fungi in Central Kalimantan is deficient, especially in the rubber agroforestry. This study aims to study the diversity of ushroom-forming fungi from rubber agroforestry in Jaweten Village, Barito Timur Regency, Central Kalimantan. Sampling was carried out using the cruise method at locations with size of 200m x 150m . Identification results presented as taxonomical graphic and character descriptions. Mushrooms diversity analyzed using diversity index (H`), richness index (R), and dominance index (ID) while pure isolates are stored as collection. Based on this research, there are 3 phyla, 11 orders, 31 families, and 99 species that can be found in rubber agroforestry in Jaweten Village, East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan. Based on their habitat, 48.5% of fungi grew on dead wood, 31.3% litter, 11.1% soil, and 9.1% live wood. The H' index value is 4.051 in the very high category, ID is worth 0.294 in the low category, while R is worth 18.216 in the high category.
