Abstract
KT Anggada XVI adalah kapal tunda yang beroperasi di pelabuhan Balikpapan. Kapal ini direpowering karena kemampuan mesin yang terdahulu dirasa telah mengalami penurunan sehingga harus dilakukan penggantian motor induk yang baru. Diharapkan setelah dilakukan penggantian motor induk yang baru bollard pullnya dapat mencapai kebutuhan yaitu sebesar 22 ton, sementara kenyataan di lapangan bollard pullnya belum mencapai sebesar itu. Oleh karena itu akan dilakukan analisa penggantian motor induk dan perubahan bentuk lambung yang sesuai serta pemilihan propulsor yang tepat agar bollard pull yang dikehendaki dapat tercapai. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan analisa perhitungan tahanan (resistance) dari KT Anggada XVI dengan menggunakan perhitungan manual dan dengan menggunakan software maxsurf. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan asumsi kecepatan kapal sebesar 12 knot, setelah dilakukan perhitungan tabanannya, maka akan dilakukan pemilihan motor induk yang akan digunakan serta dilakukan pemulihan propulsor yang tepat sehingga kebutuhan bollard pull dapat tercapai. Dalam perhitungan bollard pull, didapatkan daya tarik kapal ini mampu hingga 25 ton dengan menggunakan ducted propeller. Dengan daya mesin induk sebesar 2 x 1000 Hp dan gear box ratio 6,45. Propeller yang dianalisa dalam makalah ini adalah propeller type 84-100 dengan P/D 0,95 dan diameter sebesar 1,833 m. Untuk perhitungan BHP engine berdasarkan LOA dari grafik, didapatkan nilai sebesar 1029,97 Hp dengan LOA= 26 (85,3 ft). Sedangkan perhitungan BHP beradasarkan Average Towing speed sebesar 387,912 Hp dengan kecepatan tarik sebesar 5 knots. KT Anggada XVI is a tugboat operating in Balikpapan port. This ship was repowered because the previous engine's capacity was felt to have decreased so that it had to be replaced with a new main motor. It is expected that after the replacement of the new main motor, the bollard pull can reach the requirement of 22 tons, while in reality the bollard pull has not reached that size. Therefore, an analysis will be carried out on the replacement of the main motor and the appropriate hull shape changes as well as the selection of the right propulsor so that the desired bollard pull can be achieved. In this final project, an analysis of the resistance calculation of KT Anggada XVI will be carried out using manual calculations and using maxsurf software. The calculation is carried out assuming the ship's speed is 12 knots, after calculating the resistance, the selection of the main motor to be used will be carried out and the appropriate propulsor recovery will be carried out so that the bollard pull requirement can be achieved. In the bollard pull calculation, it was found that the ship's pulling power is capable of up to 25 tons using a ducted propeller. With a main engine power of 2 x 1000 Hp and a gear box ratio of 6.45. The propeller analyzed in this paper is a type 84-100 propeller with a P/D of 0.95 and a diameter of 1.833 m. For the calculation of engine BHP based on LOA from the graph, a value of 1029.97 Hp with LOA = 26 (85.3 ft) is obtained. While the BHP calculation is based on an Average Towing speed of 387.912 Hp with a towing speed of 5 knots.
