Abstract

PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) menyadari pentingnya integrasi teknologi digital dalam setiap lini bisnisnya untuk mendukung budaya perbaikan berkelanjutan. Sebelumnya, proses pengelolaan ide di lingkungan Business & Performance Improvement Department (BPID) dilakukan secara manual, sehingga memiliki berbagai keterbatasan dalam hal efisiensi administratif, transparansi proses, serta dokumentasi data yang terpusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Website IdeKu, sebuah sistem digital yang berfungsi untuk mengelola seluruh siklus hidup ide karyawan secara terintegrasi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.
Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan kerangka kerja ASP.NET Core yang selaras dengan infrastruktur IT berbasis Microsoft di KPC. Teknologi ini dipilih karena menawarkan performa tinggi, keamanan tingkat enterprise, dan dukungan terhadap Clean Architecture, sehingga cocok untuk sistem berskala besar dengan alur kerja dinamis. Pengelolaan basis data dilakukan menggunakan Entity Framework Core dan SQL Server untuk menjamin efisiensi dan skalabilitas. Fitur-fitur utama yang diimplementasikan meliputi pengajuan ide, konfigurasi workflow approval berjenjang (multi-stage), pelacakan milestone, serta pemantauan dampak penghematan biaya (cost saving). Hasil pengujian fungsional menunjukkan bahwa Website IdeKu mampu menjawab tantangan efisiensi dan transparansi yang sebelumnya terjadi. Dengan adanya sistem ini, BPID dapat mengelola ide-ide karyawan secara lebih terstruktur, mempermudah pemantauan status persetujuan, serta menjamin tersedianya dokumentasi data yang terpusat dan akurat.

PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) recognizes the importance of integrating digital technology into every line of its business to support a culture of continuous improvement. Previously, the idea management process within the Business & Performance Improvement Department (BPID) was carried out manually, resulting in various limitations in terms of administrative efficiency, process transparency, and centralized data documentation. This research aims to design and build the IdeKu Website, a digital system that serves to manage the entire employee idea lifecycle in an integrated manner to overcome these problems. This system was developed using the ASP.NET Core framework, which is compatible with KPC's Microsoft-based IT infrastructure. This technology was chosen because it offers high performance, enterprise-level security, and support for Clean Architecture, making it suitable for large-scale systems with dynamic workflows. Database management is performed using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server to ensure efficiency and scalability. The main features implemented include idea submission, multi-stage workflow approval configuration, milestone tracking, and cost saving impact monitoring. Functional testing results show that the IdeKu Website is able to address the previous challenges of efficiency and transparency. With this system in place, BPID can manage employee ideas in a more structured manner, facilitate approval status monitoring, and ensure the availability of centralized and accurate data documentation.
