Abstract
Skateboard sendiri adalah bentuk rekreasi dan olahraga, populer di kalangan anak muda, di mana seseorang berdiri dengan seimbang pada papan kecil yang dipasang ke roda. Skateboard memiliki penggemar sebanyak 85 juta orang di seluruh dunia dan merupakan salah satu olahraga ekstrim populer di dunia. Skateboard sebagai olahraga ada banyak variasinya dan salah satunya adalah jenis street yang menampilkan trik yang di lingkungan perkotaan nyata atau simulasi dengan tangga, railing tangga, tepian, dan rintangan lainnya. Popularitas olahraga ini semakin meningkat di kalangan masyarakat sejak ditampilkan pertama kali di ajang olimpiade Tokyo 2020 dan Asian Games 2018 yang diselenggarakan di Indonesia. Dengan meningkatnya olahraga skateboarding dengan demand market produk-produk skateboard, penulis melihat peluang untuk membuat sebuah sepatu yang dapat menunjang kebutuhan pemain skateboard Indonesia di kategori street style. Konsep Modernized 2000s memberikan estetika sepatu skateboard retro era 2000an dan 90an yang mengikuti tren sepatu sneakers yang terkini dengan fitur-fitur yang modern. Konsep tersebut menghadirkan sepatu skateboard dengan durabilitas sebagai hal utama yang ingin di tingkatkan tanpa menghilangkan performa untuk kebutuhan pemain skateboard street style.

Skateboarding is a form of recreation and sport, popular with young people, in which a person stands balanced on a small board attached to a wheel. Skateboarding has 85 million fans worldwide and is one of the most popular extreme sports in the world. Skateboarding as a sport there are many variations and one of them is the type of street that performs tricks in a real or simulated urban environment with stairs, stair railings, ledges, and other obstacles. The popularity of this sport has been increasing among the public since it was first shown at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and 2018 Asian Games which were held in Indonesia. With the increase in skateboarding and the market demand for skateboarding products, the author sees an opportunity to make a shoe that can support the needs of Indonesian skateboarders in the street category. Skateboard shoe designs that come with durability as the main thing that you want to improve with designs that follow the latest sneaker shoe trends are expected to meet the needs of skateboarders in the street category. A modern retro year 2000s and 90s aesthetic that gives a retro feel without compromising performance for the needs of modern skateboarding.
