Abstract
Perancangan produk ini menggunakan prinsip yang ekologis guna memberikan alternatif produksi tekstil untuk mengurangi dampak pencemaran lingkungan akibat industri tekstil. Perancangan ini berdasarkan konsep desain yang berkelanjutan (sustainable design) untuk mewujudkan produk fesyen yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang dipakai yaitu metode desain dengan melewati tiga tahap yakni, metode perancangan, konsep dan visualisasi. Metode perancangan melewati tahap analisis permasalahan, strategi pemecahan masalah, pengumpulan data, uji coba, dan menentukan gagasan awal perancangan. Konsep meliputi landasan pemikiran untuk perancangan desain tugas akhir. Visualisasi yakni tahap memvisualisasikan konsep rencana perancangan yang sudah ditulis dalam proses perancangan. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah produk fesyen yang ramah lingkungan (sustainable fashion). Hasil perancangan tugas akhir ini menghasilkan desain tas kerja dengan tema modern-nature. Teknik yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah eco printing. Eksplorasi teknik eco printing dengan memanfaatkan dedaunan dan bunga sebagai motif utama. Eksplorasi eco printing ini akan menghasilkan karya etis, estetis, unik, dan mempunyai nilai kebaharuan yang tinggi. Bahan yang digunakan adalah kulit lambskin yang baik untuk diberikan motif ecoprint. Pada masa mendatang diharapkan adanya eksplorasi-eksplorasi teknik pewarnaan teksil dengan pertimbangan desain berkesinambungan sehingga semakin banyak potensi baru pengembangan desain produk fesyen ramah lingkungan yang memiliki dampak positif bagi kekayaan khasanah desain apparel di Indonesia.

The design of this product uses ecological principles to provide an alternative to textile production to reduce the environmental impact of the textile industry. This design is based on a sustainable design concept to realize environmentally friendly fashion products. The method used is the design method by passing through three stages, namely, the design method, and visualization. The design method passes through the stages of problem analysis, problem solving strategies, data collection, testing, and determining the initial design idea. The concept covers the rationale for the design of the final project. Visualization is the stage of visualizing the concept of a design plan that has been written in the design process. The resulting product is a fashion product that is environmentally friendly (sustainable fashion). The results of this final project design resulted in a design task with a modern-nature theme. The technique used in this design is eco printing. Exploration of eco printing techniques by utilizing flowers and flowers as the main pattern. This eco printing exploration will produce works that are ethical, aesthetic, unique, and have a high novelty value. The material used is lambskin leather which is good for ecoprint motifs. In the future, it is hoped that there will be exploration of textile coloring techniques with design considerations so that there will be more potential for the development of new environmentally friendly fashion product designs that have a positive impact on the wealth of clothing design repertoire in Indonesia.
