Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin kritisnya orang tua memilih pendidikan anak, yang didasari oleh kesadaran tumbuh kembang anak usia dini pada masa golden age dapat mempengaruhi hidupnya hingga dewasa kelak. Dan di Kota Malang semakin menjamurnya sekolah PAUD swasta yang menawarkan kelebihannya masing-masing. Oleh karena itu untuk menjadi sekolah yang unggul diperlukannya inovasi untuk terus meningkatkan mutu sehingga dapat mempertahankan eksistensi sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan solusi untuk Sekolah PAUD Anak Saleh agar menjadi sekolah terpilih bagi calon orang tua untuk anaknya dengan menawarkan fasilitas penunjang untuk memaksimalkan tumbuh kembang anak. Metode penelitian yang dipakai kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan observasi secara langsung, wawancara dengan pihak terkait, penyebaran kuisioner dan studi literatur. Ruang Sekolah berkonsep imajinatif serta didasari oleh penanaman nilai Montessori dapat menjadikan anak unggul secara sensorik, motorik, kognitif, sosial dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini dikarenakan dapat menumbuhkan suasana belajar aktif, kreatif, efektif, inovatif, menyenangkan dan ramah anak Sehingga konsep desain interior yang imajinatif dengan dasar metode Montessori dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengembangan sekolah PAUD Terpadu anak Saleh menjadi sekolah pilihan untuk para calon orang tua.

This research is motivated by the increasingly critical parental choice of children's education, which is based on the awareness that early childhood growth and development during the golden age can affect their lives into adulthood. And in Malang City, there are more private PAUD schools that offer their respective advantages. Therefore, to become a superior school, innovation is needed to continue to improve quality so that it can maintain the existence of the school. This study aims to find a solution for the Saleh Children's PAUD School to become the school of choice for prospective parents for their children by offering supporting facilities to maximize child development. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative with direct observation approach, interviews with related parties, questionnaires and literature studies. The school room has an imaginative concept and is based on the instillation of Montessori values that can make children superior in sensory, motor, cognitive, social and daily life. This is because it can foster an active, creative, effective, innovative, fun and child-friendly learning atmosphere So that the concept of imaginative interior design based on the Montessori method can be a solution to developing the Saleh Children's Integrated PAUD school into a main choice for prospective parents.
