Abstract

Tabula Karsa adalah balai yang berfokus dibidang pemberdayaan remaja akhir hingga dewasa yang masih dalam usia produktif dan masih ingin belajar dan mengembangkan potensi dirinya sehingga dapat bersaing dan berdaya ditengah situasi andemi saat ini, yaitu semakin berkurangnya lapangan pekerjaan. Pada kesempatan ini, penulis mencanangkan desain balai menggunakan konsep inclusive sustainable design, yang dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan penggunanya, baik umum maupun disabilitas. Secara umum, tanpa batasan fisik, rentang usia, dan juga jenis kelamin. Dengan pendekatan desain tersebut, suatu fasilitas maupun desain akan ‟kompromi‟, sehingga semua pengguna dapat diakomodasi kebutuhannya dalam eraktivitas, tanpa mengeksklusifkan sebagian orang (Yusita, 2008). Dengan menerapkan dan mengimplementasi desain, penulis menghimpun data dengan pendektan basis data yang dibutuhkan baik literatur, observasi dengan masyarakat, dan sebagainya. Pada dasarnya pengaplikasian konsep desain inklusif berkelanjutan pada Balai Tabula Karsa dirasa tepat guna untuk mengoptimalkan tujuan balai sebagai tempat pemberdayaan dan sentra binaan komunal yang dapat mendukung dan mengoptimalkan potensi individu (pengguna). Desain ini muncul dari pemikiran pihak yang terlibat seperti penulis, dosen pembimbing serta orang-orang yang memberi masukkan pada desain balai pemberdayaan ini.

Tabula Karsa is a center that focuses on empowering late teenagers to adults who are still in their productive age and still want to learn and develop their potential so that they can compete and be empowered in the midst of the current pandemic situation, namely the decreasing number of jobs. On this occasion, the author proposes the design of the hall using the concept of inclusive sustainable design, which can accommodate the needs of its users, both general and
disabled. In general, without physical limitations, age range, and also gender. With this design approach, a facility or design will be 'compromised', so that all users can be accommodated for their needs in their activities, without excluding some people (Yusita, 2008). By implementing and implementing the design, the authors collect data using a database approach that is needed both literature, observations with the community, and so on. Basically, the application of the concept of sustainable inclusive design at Balai Tabula Karsa is deemed appropriate to optimize the purpose of the hall as a place of empowerment and communal fostered centers that can support and optimize individual potential (users). This design emerged from the thoughts of the parties involved such as writers, supervisors and people who gave input to the design of this empowerment center.
