Abstract
Di Timor-Leste sarana tranportasi laut khusus untuk ternak belum ada, mengingat bahwa Timor-Leste juga memiliki pontensi untuk menjadi sentra produksi sapi. Dengan demikian maka Timor-Lestes bisa ekspor sapi ke luar negeri guna memenuhi kebutuhan dagin sapi di luar negeri seperti Indonesia khususnya daerah Jawa Timur-Surabaya yang tiap tahun tingkat konsumsi dagin sapi terus meningkat. Tugas kahir ini desain kapal ternak pengankut sapi dengan kapasitas angkut yang didapat dengan menggunakan data populasi sapi setiap tahun di Timor-Leste dan jumlah produksi yang dapat di ekspor ke luar negeri, kemudian mencari kapasitas ruang muat dan ukuran utama dari kapal. Dengan ukuran utama yang dapat, maka dilakukan perhitungan teknis, rencana garis, rencana umum dan perhitungan ekonomis. Kapal ternak pengankut sapi yang di desain pada tugas akhir ini memiliki kandang di dalam ruan muatnya sebagai tempat sapi, selain itu juga dilengkapi dengan tempat oakan dan minum untuk sapi. Dengan tugas akhir desain kapal ternak pengankut sapi ini diharapkan dapat memberi solusi alternatif untuk menjawab kebutuhan sarana transportasi laut pengankut sapi di Timor-Leste. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan desain kapal pengangkut sapi dengan muatan Sapi 2728 ekor didapatkan dari analisa suplai dan permintaan daging sapi. Untuk biaya pembangunan kapal ternak dengan ukuran utama kapal adalah Loa : Lpp : 77.3 m: Lebar : 13.4 m, tinggi : 6.0 m, sarat : 3.6 m. Dengan rute pelabuhan Dili Timor-Leste menuju pelabuhan Tanjun -Perak-Surabaya.

In Timor-Leste there is no special means of sea transportation for livestock, given that Timor-Leste also has the potential to become a center for cattle production. Thus, Timor-Leste can export cattle abroad to meet the needs of beef abroad, such as Indonesia, especially the East Java-Surabaya area, where the consumption level of beef continues to increase every year. This final task is to design a cattle ship carrying cattle with a carrying capacity obtained by using data on the cattle population each year in Timor-Leste and the amount of production that can be exported abroad, then look for the loading capacity and main size of the ship. With the main size that can be carried out, technical calculations, line plans, general plans and economic calculations are carried out. The cattle-carrying cattle ship designed in this final project has a cage in the loading room as a place for cows, besides that it is also equipped with a place for oak and drinking for cows. With this final project, the design of cattle-carrying cattle vessels is expected to provide an alternative solution to address the needs of cattle-carrying sea transportation facilities in Timor-Leste. In this final project, the design of a cattle carrier ship with a load of 2728 cows was carried out based on the analysis of beef supply and demand. For the cost of building a cattle ship, the main dimensions of the ship are Loa : 82 m, Lpp : 77.3 m: Width : 13.4 m, height : 6.0 m, draft : 3.6 m. With the port route Dili Timor-Leste to the port of Tanjung -Perak-Surabaya.
