Abstract
Persaingan di industri rotating equipment service sangat ketat dan kompetitif. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, industri jasa ini berkembang pesat seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan perawatan peralatan yang efektif dan efisien. Perencanaan penjualan dan operasional yang efektif dan efisien untuk dapat memenuhi dinamika kebutuhan pelanggan adalah sangat penting. Komunikasi dan koordinasi antar fungsi yang terintegrasi adalah sangat penting agar adanya sinkronisasi antara supply dan demand. Pencapaian on time delivery project di Perusahaan RES Indonesia adalah 82% dari target yang ditetapkan 95%. Oleh karena itu perlu diimplementasikan proses sales & operations planning (S&OP), dimana semua pihak yang terlibat dalam perencanaan permintaan dan pasokan dapat berkoordinasi dalam menjaga keseimbangan supply dan demand. Dalam tesis ini, akan diusulkan sebuah konseptual framework S&OP terintegrasi yang memudahkan proses koordinasi lintas fungsi pada sebuah perusahaan jasa di Indonesia. Dalam studi kasus ini akan dibahas framework S&OP yang tepat untuk sebuah perusahaan rotating equipment service dan aspek kunci S&OP yang dapat mempengaruhi implementasi S&OP di perusahaan. Pendekatan penelitian melalui studi literatur, wawancara dan observasi kepada fungsi terkait yang akan digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi lebih mendalam. Rancangan framework S&OP yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi tidak hanya bagi praktisi namun juga bagi akademisi dalam memahami pentingnya peran S&OP yang mampu mengintegrasikan kepentingan lintas fungsi di supply chain terutama di industri jasa.

Competition in the rotating equipment service industry is very tight and competitive. In recent years, this service industry has grown rapidly along with the increasing need for effective and efficient equipment maintenance. Effective and efficient sales and operational planning to meet the dynamics of customer needs is very important. Integrated communication and coordination between functions are very important so that there is synchronization between supply and demand. The achievement of on time delivery projects in RES Indonesia Company is 82% of the target set at 95%. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the sales & operations planning (S&OP) process, where all parties involved in demand and supply planning can coordinate in maintaining the balance of supply and demand. In this thesis, an integrated S&OP conceptual framework will be proposed that facilitates the cross-functional coordination process in a service company in Indonesia. This case study will discuss the right S&OP framework for a rotating equipment service company and key aspects of S&OP that can affect the implementation of the S&OP process in the company. The research approach through literature studies, interviews and observations of related functions will be used, also focus group discussion to obtain more in-depth information. The resulting S&OP framework design is expected to be a reference not only for practitioners but also for academics in understanding the importance of the role of S&OP which is able to integrate cross-functional interests in the supply chain, especially in the service industry.
