Abstract

The increasing number of residents in the Sleman district causes the availability of land to be narrow. This problem has made the building construction lead to a vertical development model (high-rise building). The Dental Learning Center of Gadjah Mada University Building has 6 floors that were built with the conventional method (cast in-situ). This construction method has many deficiencies such as a long time, poor quality control, and less efficiency in terms of cost and time. Therefore, in this final project, the structure of the building will be replanned to 11 floors with a precast concrete element. Components of structure that are converted into precast elements include columns, beams, and plates. The plate will use a hollow core slab element because it can reduce the weight of the structure's gravity load. The structural design plan will use a dual system with shear wall reinforcement. In the structural analysis and building design modeling, the author uses the ETABS 2016 program. The planning of the building structure design in this final project refers to several guidelines and regulations such as SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1727:2020, SNI 1726:2019, PPIUG 1983, PCI Handbook, and several other references. Connections in precast concrete construction occupy the most important part. The accuracy of the connection design is the main thing in prefabrication. In the connection method between precast elements using a mechanical connection Modix Rebar Coupler products from Peikko Group and NMB Splice Sleeve.
