Abstract

The Trans Java Toll Road is a National Strategic Project (PSN) that connects cities on the island of Java with a length of ± 1000 km. One of the toll roads that cross the cities of Yogyakarta and Solo is the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulon Progo Toll Road with a length of ±96.57 km. In Section 1 of Package 1.1, especially in STA 0+550 – STA 1+150, there are construction of bridges, underpasses, box culverts and embankments. The length of the Ngasem bridge construction is 200 m, 6 segment and there are 2 abutments that use bored pile foundations. The embankment behind the abutment is planned as high as 8 m in the north and 6 m in the south with a slope of 1:2. In addition, there are 5 box culverts and 1 village road underpass. The toll road construction planning is based on soil data, where the type of soil at a depth of 0-4 m is silty clay. Meanwhile, the type of gravel silty sand with a very dense and stiff texture is found at a depth of 4 m – 40 m. The groundwater table is located at a depth of 2.4 m from the ground. The existence of very good soil conditions, in this study, design efficiency will be carried out with alternative planning on abutment foundations and planning for reinforcement of the oprite embankment compared to the existing conditions in order to obtain a safer and more efficient plan. From the results of the analysis of calculations that have been carried out on the north side of the abutment, it was found that for an alternative to the north abutment foundation of the Ngasem bridge which is strong, safe and efficient, namely the well foundation with a diameter of 300 cm, as many as 4 pieces in 1 abutment, the distance between the foundations is 9 m and has a depth of 6 m from the base of the abutment with Q all SF = 3 of 15394.05 kN, while P max 1 foundation is 15088.60 kN and material capacity of 54946.37 kN. In addition, the total price for the D300 well foundation material is Rp. 486,894,208.21, while for the existing D100 foundation, it is Rp. 1,945,179,734.83. Furthermore, regarding the alternative embankment on the north side of the bridge oprit which is the most efficient in terms of the price of reinforcement material and land use, namely the upright side embankment with T ult 200 kN/m woven geotextile material totaling 16 layers of geotextile, with a total requirement per 100 m of road which is 30526 m2 of geotextile and land requirements of 2981 m2, so the total price required is Rp. 10,057,199,000.00. Meanwhile, the total price of reinforcement materials and land for the existing embankment requires Rp. 20,862,116,000.00.
