Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health is a very important thing in the construction world because it is in direct contact with workers. An incorrect calculation of potential risks can result in work accidents, especially for workers. In Indonesia alone, work accidents on erection girder work are still common. There are around 6 incidents related to work accidents on erection girder work that occurred in the period 2017–2021. This final project was made with the title Risk Analysis of Work Accidents at PCI Erection Girder Work on the Tuntang Bridge Semarang-Demak Toll Project Section 2. Using the Task Demand Assessment (TDA) Method to minimize accidents at work in bridge girder erection work. This research was conducted using the Task Demand Assessment (TDA) method. The TDA method was used to quantify the potential risk of work accidents with the characteristics of work activities and worker behavior factors on the project. Based on the results of this study, there were four risks that had the highest potential, including crane collapse when lifting the girder with an accident point of 39.6 points, a broken sling when lifting the girder with an accident point of 37.6 points, and girder collapse with an accident point of 42.8 points, and the failure of the spreader beam structure with an accident point of 41.2 points, the risk is caused by several factors including, risk factors for using personal protective equipment (PPE), wind speed, worker health, worker movement, setting of work tools, and worker credibility.
