Abstract
Jalan Tol Semarang – Demak merupakan proyek jalan tol sepanjang 24 kilometer yang menghubungkan Kota Semarang dan Kabupaten Demak. Jalan tol ini juga merupakan bagian dari jalan tol trans jawa koridor pantura yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konektivitas pengembangan area di sekitar tol. Pada Paket 2 Proyek Jalan Tol Semarang – Demak (STA 14+200 – 15+100) direncanakan konstruksi slab on pile sepanjang kurang lebih 500 m, sedangkan sisanya direncanakan konstruksi timbunan. Konstruksi slab on pile dipilih karena waktu pengerjaan yang relatif cepat dan kuat walau dibangun diatas tanah lembek; hanya saja biayanya cukup mahal. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan perencanaan alternatif dengan menggunakan material timbunan tanah dan timbunan ringan (mortar busa) yang memiliki biaya lebih rendah; hanya saja waktu pengerjaan relatif lebih lama. Pada timbunan dengan material tanah sirtu pemampatan yang terjadi dipercepat dengan menggunakan metode preloading yang dikombinasi dengan prefabricated vertical drain (PVD); metode ini kemungkinan masih membutuhkan perkuatan untuk meningkatkan daya dukung tanahnya. Selain tanah sirtu, alternaif bahan timbunan ringan (mortar busa) juga dipilih untuk mengurangi pemampatan tanah dasarnya; apabila pemampatan yang akan terjadi akibat timbunan ringan ini masih memenuhi persyaratan pemampatan maksimum yang diijinkan, maka tidak diperlukan perbaikan tanah untuk mempercepat pemampatan. Selain itu juga direncanakan timbunan dengan variasi kedua material tersebut dengan persentase berdasarkan pada tinggi timbunannya dengan rincian: seluruh timbunan menggunakan material tanah, seluruhnya timbunan menggunakan materia ringan, dan sebagian timbunan menggunakan material tanah dan sisanya menggunakan material ringan. Dari hasil analisa untuk perhitungan diperoleh tanah dasar sedalam 23 m mengalami pemampatan sedalam 3 m selama 500 tahun untuk timbunan sirtu dan pemampatan sedalam 1,5 m untuk timbunan ringan tanpa PVD, sedangkan bila menggunakan PVD pemampatan bisa dipercepat hingga 22 minggu. Kontrol stabilitas timbunan menggunakan program bantu GEO5 dihasilkan timbunan dengan material sirtu, 75% sirtu, dan 50% sirtu mengalami kelongsoran, maka diperlukan perkuatan menggunakan cerucuk dengan beberapa alternatif yaitu, 1) Spun pile diameter 80 cm sedalam 24 m; 2) Spun pile diameter 60 cm sedalam 16 m. Biaya material untuk setiap alternatif perencanaan adalah sebesar Rp. 13.896.088.000 (timbunan sirtu), Rp. 19.294.444.681 (75% timbunan sirtu), Rp. 22.779.320.900 (50% timbunan sirtu), Rp 25.751.508.600 (75% timbunan sirtu), Rp. 30.413.182.600 (timbunan ringan). Dari harga yang didapat maka dipilih alternatif timbunan sirtu dengan kemiringan lereng 1:1 karena dinilai murah dan mudah diaplikasikan.

The Semarang – Demak Toll Road is a toll road project with a length of 24 kilometers that connects Semarang City and Demak Regency. This toll road is also part of the Trans Java toll road, the Pantura Corridor, which aims to improve connectivity in the development of the area around the toll road. In Package 2 of the Semarang – Demak Toll Road Project (STA 14+200 – 15+100) a slab on pile construction of approximately 500 m is planned, while the rest is planned for embankment construction. The slab on pile construction was chosen because of the relatively fast and strong construction time even though it was built on soft soil; it's just that it's quite expensive. Therefore, an alternative plan is needed using soil and lightweight embankment materials (foam mortar) which have lower costs; it's just that the processing time is relatively longer. In embankments with sandy soil material, the compression that occurs is accelerated by using the preloading method combined with prefabricated vertical drain (PVD); this method may still need reinforcement to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. In addition to sandy soil, an alternative lightweight fill material (foam mortar) is also chosen to reduce the compression of the subgrade; If the compression that will occur due to this light embankment still meets the maximum allowable compression requirements, then no soil improvement is needed to accelerate the compression. In addition, it is also planned for embankments with variations of the two materials with a percentage based on the height of the embankment with details: all embankments use soil materials, all embankments use light materials, and some use soil materials and the rest use lightweight materials. From the results of the analysis for the calculation, the subgrade with a depth of 23 m has been compressed to a depth of 3 m for 500 years for gravel embankments and 1.5 m for light embankments without PVD, whereas when using PVD the compression can be accelerated to 22 weeks. To control the stability of the embankment using the GEO5 auxiliary program, the embankment with gravel material, 75% of the gravel, and 50% of the gravel have collapsed, it is necessary to strengthen using a recess with several alternatives, namely, 1) Spun pile diameter of 80 cm as deep as 24 m; 2) Spun pile diameter 60 cm as deep as 16 m. The material cost for each planning alternative is Rp. 13,896,088,000 (pile of sirtu), Rp. 19,294,444,681 (75% heap of sirtu), Rp. 22,779,320,900 (50% pile of sirtu), Rp. 25,751,508,600 (75% heap of sirtu), Rp. 30,413,182,600 (light stockpile). From the price obtained, an alternative to the sirtu embankment with a slope of 1:1 is chosen because it is considered cheap and easy to apply.
