Abstract
Seiring dengan pertumbuhan lalu lintas yang semakin meningkat di Indonesia, akan berdampak pada terhambatnya transportasi yang menyebabkan kemacetan. Dengan kemacetan di jalan Yogyakarta-Bawen yang semakin meningkat, pemerinah merencanakan jalan alternatif berupa jalan bebas hambatan atau biasa disebut dengan jalan tol sebagai opsi kepada pengguna jalan yang melintas. Dewasa ini, sarana dan prasarana jalan tol mulai terganggu terutama pada saat musim liburan karena tingginya minat wisatawan sehingga menyebabkan kemacetan dan peningkatan angka kecelakaan di ruas jalan tol. Salah satu penyebab kecelakaan yaitu pada faktor manusianya itu sendiri. Faktor manusia bisa berupa kondisi fisik dan mental yang kurang baik, sikap berkendara, keterampilan mengemudi yang buruk, serta pengaruh alkohol. Hadirnya tempat istirahat dapat membantu pengemudi yang lelah agar beristirahat terlebih dahulu sebelum melanjutkan perjalanannya kembali. Pembangunan rest area memiliki fungsi utama sebagai penyedia fasilitas bagi pengendara perjalanan jarak jauh untuk beristirahat sejenak, kelelahan dan kejenuhan serta fungsi tambahan sebagai tempat rekreasi publik untuk mengurangi stress pengemudi. Sehingga rest area diharapkan mampu mewadahi segala kebutuhan pengemudi dengan berbagai fasilitasnya. Bersumber pada rest area yang telah tersedia di jalan tol Indonesia, perlu dilakukan perencanaan rest area untuk mengetahui kebutuhan fasilitas serta titik lokasi rest area Tol Yogyakarta-Bawen. Data yang dibutuhkan pada Tugas Akhir ini adalah data primer berupa data survei masuk-keluar beserta jenis golongan kendaraan dan wawancara kepada pengguna rest area terdekat. Sedangkan data sekunder berupa data trase jalan tol dan data lalu lintas harian Yogyakarta-Bawen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, tingkat perpindahan ke ruas Jalan Tol Temanggung-Bawen (Arah Temanggung) sebesar 48,94% dari volume lalu lintas yang melewati Jalan Nasional Temanggung-Bawen (Arah Temanggung). Tipe rest area pada Jalan Tol Temanggung-Bawen (Arah Temanggung) sesuai dengan perhitungan regresi kebutuhan ruang parkir, yaitu menggunakan Tipe B dengan ruang parkir sebanyak 160 SRP untuk mobil dan 30 SRP untuk truk. Fasilitas yang disediakan pada rest area Jalan Tol Temanggung-Bawen (Arah Temanggung) memiliki 6 fasilitas utama menggunakan perhitungan regresi linear dengan total luas masjid 1127,8 , restoran 3807,4 , toilet/peturasan 590,6 , miniswalayan 1009,9, kios 704,1 , dan SPBU 2131,5 .

Along with the increasing traffic growth in Indonesia, it will have an impact on transportation bottlenecks that cause congestion. With the increasing congestion on the Yogyakarta-Bawen road, the government plans an alternative road in the form of a freeway or commonly referred to as a toll road as an option for passing road users. Nowadays, toll road facilities and infrastructure are starting to be disrupted, especially during the holiday season due to the high interest of tourists, causing congestion and an increase in the number of accidents on toll road sections. One of the causes of accidents is in the human factor itself. Human factors can be poor physical and mental conditions, driving attitudes, poor driving skills, as well as the influence of alcohol. The presence of a rest area can help tired drivers to rest first before continuing their journey back. The construction of the rest area has the main function as a provider of facilities for long-distance travelers to rest for a while, fatigue and saturation as well as an additional function as a public recreational place to reduce driver stress. So that the rest area is expected to be able to accommodate all the needs of drivers with its various facilities. Sourced from the rest area that is already available on the Indonesian toll road, it is necessary to plan the rest area to find out the needs of facilities and the location point of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Rest Area. The data needed in this Final Project is primary data in the form of entry-exit survey data along with the type of vehicle class and interviews with users of the nearest rest area. Meanwhile, secondary data is in the form of toll road traffic data and Yogyakarta-Bawen daily traffic data. It is hoped that the results of this Final Project will be to find out the location of the rest area, the need for parking space and the facilities in the rest area. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the rate of displacement to the Temanggung-Bawen Toll Road section (Temanggung Direction) is 48.94% of the volume of traffic passing through the Temanggung-Bawen National Road (Temanggung Direction). The type of rest area on the Temanggung-Bawen Toll Road (Temanggung Direction) is in accordance with the regression calculation of parking space needs, namely using Type B with a parking space of 160 SRP for cars and 30 SRP for trucks. The facilities provided in the rest area of the Temanggung-Bawen Toll Road (Temanggung Direction) have 6 main facilities using linear regression calculations with a total mosque area of 1127.8,
