Abstract

Gedung ICT (Information and Communication of Technology) dan Robotik merupakan salah satu gedung riset pada Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) yang terdiri dari 3 lantai. Lapisan tanah pada area gedung ini dominan tanah lunak dengan tebal lapisan compressible 12 m. Perencanaan pondasi eksisting menggunakan spun pile dengan diameter 600 mm sedalam 18 m di 55 titik. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan analisis daya dukung pondasi eksisting terhadap beban yang diterima dari Gedung ICT dan Robotik. Selain itu dilakukan alternatif perencanaan pondasi tikar dan pondasi tapak dengan mempertimbangkan daya dukung dan pemampatan yang terjadi pada tanah. Pada perencanaan pondasi tikar, dilakukan metode perbaikan tanah vacuum consolidation dengan Prevabricated Vertical Drain. Perencanaan pondasi tapak menggunakan perkuatan cerucuk dibawah pondasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis biaya material pada tiap perencanaan pondasi untuk mendapatkan perencanaan yang paling efisien dalam segi biaya material. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perencanaan pondasi eksisting, didapatkan nilai daya dukung izin tiang dua hingga tiga kali lebih besar dari daya dukung yang diperlukan untuk menahan beban yang bekerja, yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai daya dukung pondasi eksisting lebih dari cukup untuk menahan beban gedung. Perencanaan pondasi tikar dimulai dengan perbaikan tanah dengan metode vacuum consolidation dan PVD. Pompa vakum yang digunakan adalah pompa GVS (Geostructure Vacuum System). PVD yang digunakan adalah tipe CeTeau-Drain CT-D812 dipasang hingga kedalaman 12 m dengan pola segitiga dan spasi 0,85 m. Pondasi tikar direncanakan dengan pelat setebal 0,5 m sebesar 384,12

The ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and Robotics is a research building at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) consisting of 3 floors. The soil layer in this building area is predominantly soft soil with a compressible layer thickness of 12 m. the existing foundation design uses spun piles with a diameter of 600 mm to a depth of 18 m at 55 points. This Final Project analyzes the bearing capacity of the existing foundation against the loads received from the building. In addition, alternative design for a mat foundation and a spread footing foundation is carried out, considering the bearing capacity of and settlement. For the mat foundation, the vacuum consolidation and prevabricated vertical drain ground improvement method is used. The spread footing design uses micro piles reinforcement beneath the footing. Subsequently, a material cost analysis is performed for each foundation design to obtain the most cost-efficient design in terms of material cost. Based on the analysis results of the existing foundation design, the allowable pile bearing capacity was found to be two to three times greater than the required bearing capacity to withstand the working load, indicating that the bearing capacity in existing foundation design is more than enough to withstand the working load. The mat foundation design starts with soil improvement using the vacuum consolidation and PVD method. The vacuum pump used is the GVS (Geostructure Vacuum System) pump. The PVD used is the CeTeau-Drain CT-D812 type, installed up to a depth of 12 m with a triangular pattern and a spacing of 0,85 m.
