Abstract
Pembangunan Gedung Terpadu Psikologi Olahraga Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) direncanakan untuk menunjang kegiatan akademik yang terus berkembang. Dengan memperhatikan lokasi Kota Surabaya yang memiliki potensi gempa sedang, diperlukan desain struktur bangunan yang memenuhi kriteria ketahanan gempa. Dalam tugas akhir ini, dilakukan modifikasi desain struktur dari beton bertulang menjadi sistem struktur baja dengan Buckling Restrained Braced Frame (BRBF) serta penggunaan struktur baja komposit. Sistem BRBF dipilih karena kemampuannya yang tinggi dalam menahan gaya lateral serta memberikan performa yang stabil sehingga memberikan peforma yang unggul saat terjadi gempa. Fokus studi dilakukan pada perbandingan performa dua konfigurasi bracing BRBF, yakni Multi story X dan Inverted V. Perbandingan ini menjadi acuan dalam penulisan tugas akhir dalam memilih sistem bracing yang optimal untuk meningkatkan ketahanan gempa bangunan bertingkat tinggi di wilayah Surabaya. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, maka didapatkan hasil struktur atas dengan perencanaan pelat dengan menggunakan brosur SuperFloor Deck dan Union Wiremesh dengan tebal pelat beton 12 cm, dimensi balok terbesar WF 500.200.11.19, dimensi Kolom CFT terbesar SHS 700.700.40, dan bresing menggunakan brosur CoreBrace dengan dimensi luas penampang terbesar 15 in2 . Perhitungan komparasi pada masing-masing konfigurasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan berat struktur, periode getar alami struktur, gaya geser seismic dan simpangan antar lantai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan selisih berat struktur sebesar 0,06% dengan Konfigurasi Multi Story X lebih ringan dibandingkan Inverted V dan Simpangan Antar Lantai diunggulkan oleh konfigurasi Inverted V dengan nilai simpangan tertinggi sebesar 31,83 mm sedangkan Multi Story X memiliki nilai simpangan sebesar 32,58 mm.

The construction of the Integrated Sports Psychology Building at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) is planned to support the university's growing academic activities. Given Surabaya's location in a moderate seismic zone, a structural design that meets earthquake resistance criteria is essential. In this final project, the structural design was modified from reinforced concrete to a steel structural system utilizing Buckling Restrained Braced Frames (BRBF) and composite steel structures. The BRBF system was selected for its high capacity to withstand lateral forces and its stable performance, which provides superior seismic resistance. This study focuses on comparing the performance of two BRBF bracing configurations: Multistory X and Inverted V. This comparison serves as a reference for selecting the optimal bracing system to enhance the seismic resistance of high-rise buildings in the Surabaya region. Based on the analysis and calculations, the upper structure results include floor slabs designed using SuperFloor Deck and Union Wiremesh with a 12 cm concrete thickness, maximum beam dimensions of WF 500.200.11.19, maximum CFT (Concrete Filled Tube) column dimensions of SHS 700.700.40, and bracing using CoreBrace components with a maximum cross-sectional area of 15 in². The comparative analysis of each configuration was conducted by evaluating structural weight, natural vibration periods, seismic base shear, and inter-story drift. The results of this study indicate a structural weight difference of 0.06%, with the Multi-story X configuration being lighter than the Inverted V. Regarding inter-story drift, the Inverted V configuration performed better with a maximum drift of 31.83 mm, while the Multi-story X configuration resulted in a drift of 32.58 mm.
