Abstract

Pernikahan dini merupakan salah satu masalah di Indonesia. Jumlah kasus pernikahan dini masih cukup tinggi tiap tahunnya. Pernikahan dini memiliki berbagai macam dampak negatif dari segi kesehatan, sosial, finansial, dan lain-lain. Kondisi ini menyebabkan kebutuhan untuk mengedukasi para remaja mengenai dampak-dampak yang dapat diakibatkan dari pernikahan dini agar mereka dapat menghindari resiko pernikahan dini di kemudian hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran, dengan menggali informasi melalui studi literatur mengenai dampak pernikahan dini dari berbagai macam segi, depth interview kepada stakeholder dan para ahli seperti board game ilustrator dan psikolog, observasi untuk menggali informasi dan menganalisa mengenai media yang berkaitan, studi komparator, eksplorasi visual, dan user testing untuk mengukur keberhasilan board game.Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah media board game interaktif yang dirancang seperti cards game untuk membantu mengedukasi serta meningkatkan awareness para remaja akan bahaya dari pernikahan dini. Board game ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media yang menyenangkan dalam konteks belajar sambil bermain serta dapat mencegah pernikahan dini pada remaja kedepannya.

Early marriage is a problem in Indonesia. The number of cases remains quite high each year. Early marriage has various negative impacts on health, social, financial, and other aspects. This situation creates a need to educate adolescents about the potential impacts of early marriage so they can avoid the risks of early marriage in the future. This research used a mixed approach, gathering information through literature studies on the impacts of early marriage from various perspectives, in-depth interviews with stakeholders and experts such as board game illustrators and psychologists, observations to gather information and analyze related media, comparative studies, visual exploration, and user testing to measure the board game's success. The result of this design is an interactive board game designed like a card game to help educate and raise awareness among adolescents about the dangers of early marriage. This board game is expected to be a fun medium for learning through play and can help prevent early marriage among adolescents in the future.
