Abstract
Dalam ekosistem manufaktur modern, efisiensi sumber daya manusia dan optimalisasi tata letak fasilitas merupakan determinan utama daya saing industri. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Divisi Metalware PT. XYZ, sebuah unit produksi cookware yang menghadapi tantangan regulasi terkait standar SNI dan persaingan pasar e-commerce (Menteri Perdagangan RI, 2012). Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah konfigurasi tata letak fasilitas yang stagnan sejak tahun 1970, mengakibatkan aliran material tidak efektif dan beban kerja operator yang tidak seimbang. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan dua pendekatan analitis: Work Sampling dengan perhitungan Full Time Equivalent (FTE) untuk mengevaluasi produktivitas tenaga kerja, serta metode Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique (CRAFT) untuk merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas guna mengefisiensikan ongkos material handling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi algoritma CRAFT berhasil mereduksi biaya perpindahan material dari Rp. 338.611,2 menjadi Rp. 284.748,8 per hari, dengan total perpindahan material eksisting sebesar 13.343 meter. Dari aspek sumber daya manusia, analisis FTE mengidentifikasi beban kerja normal bagian Press, Pancian, Anodizing, dan Chrome. Namun, ditemukan indikasi overload signifikan pada bagian Polish (FTE 2,00), Packing (FTE 1,817), serta Verp Aluminium dan Oxyplast (FTE 1,30). Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, direkomendasikan optimalisasi efisiensi operasional, strategi menyeimbangkan beban kerja dan serta strategi pemenuhan sumber daya manusia (SDM).

In the modern manufacturing ecosystem, human resource efficiency and facility layout optimization are key determinants of industrial competitiveness. This research was conducted at the Metalware Division of PT. XYZ, a cookware production unit facing challenges from Ministry of Trade Regulation (Permendag) No. 50 of 2012 regarding SNI standards and e-commerce market competition. The primary issue identified is a facility layout configuration that has remained stagnant since 1970, resulting in ineffective material flow and unbalanced operator workloads. This study integrates two analytical approaches: Work Sampling utilizing Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) calculations to evaluate labor productivity, and the Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique (CRAFT) to redesign the facility layout to enhance material handling cost efficiency. The results indicate that the implementation of the CRAFT algorithm successfully reduced material handling costs from IDR 338,611.2 to IDR 284,748.8 per day, with an existing total material movement of 13,343 meters. Regarding human resources, the FTE analysis identified normal workloads in the Press, Pancian, Anodizing, and Chrome sections. However, significant overload was found in the Polish section (FTE 2.00), Packing (FTE 1.817), as well as Verp Aluminum and Oxyplast (FTE 1.30). Based on these findings, the study recommends optimizing operational efficiency, implementing workload balancing strategies, and developing human resource fulfillment strategies to sustain production stability.
