Abstract
Pasar tenaga kerja Indonesia menghadapi tekanan yang signifikan, ditandai dengan peningkatan jumlah pengangguran menjadi 7,28 juta orang per Februari 2025 atau sebesar 4,76 persen dari total angkatan kerja 153,05 juta orang, serta penambahan angkatan kerja sebanyak 3,67 juta orang dalam satu tahun terakhir yang tidak terserap secara optimal. Kondisi ini mendorong pemerintah untuk menyediakan solusi inovatif berbasis digital, salah satunya melalui peluncuran aplikasi SIAPkerja oleh Kemnaker sebagai ekosistem digital terpadu yang mencakup layanan Karirhub dan Skillhub. Meskipun memiliki fitur yang komprehensif, SIAPkerja masih menghadapi permasalahan serius pada aspek user experience (UX) dan teknis, seperti bug aplikasi, kendala verifikasi, serta alur penggunaan yang tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi UX aplikasi SIAPkerja, mengidentifikasi permasalahan utama pada aspek usability dan interaksi antarmuka, serta merumuskan rekomendasi pengembangan berbasis data empiris. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran dengan melibatkan responden pencari kerja usia 19–40 tahun. Evaluasi kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan performance metrics yang meliputi task success rate, time on task, error, efficiency, dan learnability, serta kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS) dan Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ). Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui metode Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA) serta text mining ulasan pengguna dari Google Play Store dan App Store yang dianalisis menggunakan kerangka UX Honeycomb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya dua dari lima task yang memiliki tingkat keberhasilan di atas 60 persen, dengan Task 1 mencapai keberhasilan 100 persen. Sebaliknya, performa terendah terjadi pada task dengan kompleksitas tinggi, yaitu Task 4 dan Task 5 yang masing-masing hanya mencapai 20 persen dan 10 persen, disertai peningkatan time on task hingga 147,13–163,46 detik serta total error tertinggi sebesar 82 dan 89. Skor SUS sebesar 46 menempatkan SIAPkerja pada kategori Not Acceptable, sementara skor PSSUQ overall sebesar 4,703 menunjukkan persepsi usability yang rendah. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa perancangan ulang antarmuka pengguna dalam bentuk desain UI low-fidelity dan high-fidelity untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan kepuasan pengguna.

Indonesia’s labor market is under significant pressure, as indicated by an increase in unemployment to 7.28 million people as of February 2025, representing 4.76 percent of the total labor force of 153.05 million, along with an additional 3.67 million new labor force entrants over the past year who were not optimally absorbed. This condition has encouraged the government to introduce innovative digital-based solutions, one of which is the launch of the SIAPkerja application by the Ministry of Manpower as an integrated digital ecosystem providing services such as Karirhub and Skillhub. Despite its comprehensive features, SIAPkerja continues to face serious user experience (UX) and technical issues, including application bugs, verification difficulties, and inefficient user flows. This study aims to evaluate the UX of the SIAPkerja application, identify key usability and interface interaction issues, and formulate development recommendations based on empirical data. A mixed-method approach was employed, involving job seeker respondents aged 19–40 years. Quantitative evaluation was conducted using performance metrics, including task success rate, time on task, error, efficiency, and learnability, as well as standardized questionnaires, namely the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ). Qualitative data were collected through the Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA) method and text mining of user reviews from the Google Play Store and App Store, analyzed using the UX Honeycomb framework. The results indicate that only two out of five tasks achieved success rates above 60 percent, with Task 1 reaching a 100 percent success rate. In contrast, the lowest performance was observed in high-complexity tasks, namely Task 4 and Task 5, which achieved success rates of only 20 percent and 10 percent, respectively, accompanied by increased time on task of up to 147.13–163.46 seconds and the highest total error counts of 82 and 89. A SUS score of 46 places SIAPkerja in the Not Acceptable category, while an overall PSSUQ score of 4.703 indicates low perceived usability. Based on these findings, this study proposes interface redesign recommendations in the form of low-fidelity and high-fidelity UI designs to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
