Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku proses corrective maintenance berbasis SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), khususnya modul Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), di Refinery Unit IV Cilacap dengan menggunakan pendekatan process mining. Walaupun SAP PM dirancang untuk meningkatkan transparansi serta pengendalian proses pemeliharaan, implementasinya di lapangan masih dihadapkan pada berbagai permasalahan, antara lain keterlambatan penyelesaian work order, deviasi terhadap alur proses standar, serta ketidakkonsistenan pencatatan aktivitas ke dalam sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan data event log SAP PM periode 2022–2024 dengan fokus pada proses corrective maintenance, yang dianalisis menggunakan process discovery untuk menggambarkan alur proses aktual, conformance checking untuk mengidentifikasi deviasi terhadap blueprint proses, serta time analysis untuk memahami karakteristik durasi dan pola keterlambatan yang terjadi. Analisis difokuskan pada perilaku proses yang terekam dalam sistem, bukan pada pengukuran kinerja secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses corrective maintenance memiliki tingkat variasi yang tinggi, dengan banyak work order tidak melalui seluruh tahapan teknis sesuai blueprint SAP PM, sementara tahapan administratif tetap berjalan hingga penutupan work order. Analisis durasi menunjukkan bahwa keterlambatan penyelesaian bersifat sistemik dan tidak secara langsung dipengaruhi oleh jumlah maupun kelengkapan aktivitas teknis, melainkan oleh mekanisme administratif dan pengendalian proses yang tidak berjalan efektif. Integrasi hasil process discovery, conformance checking, dan time analysis memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai dinamika proses maintenance aktual di lapangan dan menjadi dasar dalam perumusan rekomendasi perbaikan proses yang berorientasi pada penguatan tata kelola proses dan peningkatan konsistensi pemanfaatan SAP PM sebagai sistem pengendalian operasional.

This study aims to analyze the behavior of corrective maintenance processes
implemented using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically the SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) module, at Refinery Unit IV Cilacap through a process mining approach. Although SAP PM is designed to enhance transparency and control in maintenance operations, its practical implementation still faces several challenges, including delays in work order completion, deviations from the prescribed process flow, and inconsistencies in activity recording within the system. The study utilizes SAP PM event log data from the period 2022–2024, focusing on corrective maintenance processes. The analysis employs process discovery to depict actual process flows, conformance checking to identify deviations from the process blueprint, and time analysis to examine process duration characteristics and delay patterns. The analysis is centered on process behavior as recorded in the system rather than on quantitative performance measurement. The results indicate that corrective maintenance processes exhibit a high degree of variability, with many work orders not passing through all technical stages as defined in the SAP PM blueprint, while administrative stages continue until work order closure. Duration analysis further reveals that completion delays are systemic in nature and are not directly influenced by the number or completeness of technical activities, but rather by ineffective administrative mechanisms and process control. The integration of process discovery, conformance checking, and time analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of actual maintenance process dynamics in practice and serves as a basis for formulating process improvement recommendations oriented toward strengthening process governance and enhancing the consistent use of SAP PM as an operational control system.
