Abstract
sangat tinggi. Hal inilah yang menjadi salah satu kekurangan
sistem kontrol full state feedback.
Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) control. Penelitian difokuskan
pada pengaruh jumlah pengukuran yang digunakan terhadap
performa LBAS.
comfort gain 2,4%, dua pengukuran (kondisi II) mencapai
18,48%, dan tiga pengukuran (konsidi I) mencapai 17,53%.

The massive development and huge demand of safer and
more comfortable vehicle leads into changes in vehicle design,
especially the suspension system. Passive suspension usage which
has constant damping and spring value is now considered to fail
giving the admired response. High Bandwidth Active Suspension
(HBAS) has been tremendously studied to solve this problem.
However, the power consuption leads into another problem either.
Therefore, Low Bandwidth Active Suspension is studied as the
energy demand is less.
LBAS has been studied before but most of the research
use full state feedback controller in which almost all of the
measurements are impossible to be conducted. If it could, the
installation cost would be astonishingly high.
In this final project, performance of LBAS with LQG
Control is analised. The research is focused on the correlation
between the number of measurements and LBAS performance.
From the research, it is known that controller with one
measurement (case III) achieve 2.4% of comfort gain, two
measurements (case II) achieve 18.48%, and three measurements
(case III) achieve 17.53%
