Abstract

Treatment Planning System (TPS) merupakan kombinasi perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak yang digunakan oleh tim medis untuk menghasilkan serta memvisualisasikan perhitungan distribusi dosis radiasi secara detail. Secara khusus, TPS berperan dalam merancang protokol penyinaran dengan proses perhitungan distribusi dosis radiasi dan memodelkan distribusi energi radiasi yang akan diberikan kepada pasien dengan tingkat akurasi dan presisi tinggi. TPS dioperasikan oleh tim radioterapi yang terdiri dari dokter spesialis radiasi, fisikawan medis, dan dosimetris untuk merencanakan pemberian radiasi secara optimal dan efektif. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui sistem perencanaan perawatan radioterapi dengan pembatasan efektifitas Organ at Risk (OAR) berdasarkan Quantec. Data tersebut diolah hingga menghasilkan grafik Dose Volume Histrogram (DVH) untuk menunjukkan beberapa komponen volume target terapi seperti Planning Target Volume (PTV) dan Clinical Target Volume (CTV), serta organ-organ kritis yang rentan terhadap radiasi Organ at Risk (OAR). Sehingga dapat mengevaluasi target dosis mencapai tanpa melibihi batas jaringan sehat pada kanker.

Treatment Planning System (TPS) is combination of hardware and software. Medical teams use it to generate and visualize detailed calculations of radiation dose distribution. TPS is pivotal in designing irradiation protocols. It calculates and models the distribution of radiation energy to be delivered to patients with a high degree of accuracy and precision. TPS is operated by dedicated radiotherapy team consisting of radiation specialists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists. Team is responsible for planning optimal and effective radiation delivery. Study was conducted to determine radiation therapy planning system with Organ at Risk (OAR) effectiveness limits based on Quantec. Data was processed to generate Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) graph. Graph shows several components of the therapeutic target volume, such as the Planning Target Volume (PTV) and Clinical Target Volume (CTV), as well as critical organs susceptible to radiation Organ at Risk (OAR). Allows for the evaluation of target doses without exceeding the limits of healthy tissue in cancer.
