Abstract

Kota Surabaya Sebagai kota metropolitas memiliki permasalahan yang komplek pemerataan pendidikan. wajib belajar 12 tahun dari jenjang SD hingga SMA. Angka terbanyak usia putus sekolah berada di kisaran usia 7-12 tahun atau usia siswa SD. Surabaya Utara menempati posisi tertinggi dengan jumlah 3.429 anak. Peringkat berikutnya Surabaya Timur (1.958 anak), Surabaya Pusat (1.829 anak), Surabaya Selatan (1.569 anak) dan Surabaya Barat (894 anak). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Faktor-Faktor yang mempengaruhi pemerataan pendidikan Dengan Metode Factor Analysis dan Cluster Analysis di Surabaya. Karakteristik kecamatan menunjukkan bahwa hasil pengelompokan menggunakan metode cluster Ward’s menghasilkan 3 kelompok, kelompok I merupakan kecamatan yang memiliki rata-rata nilai gabungan pendidikan paling tinggi daerah terbaik sektor pendidikan terdapat pada kelompok I . model atau fungsi diskriminan untuk gabungan pendidikan adalah.
