Abstract

CV. X merupakan perusahaan swasta nasional di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang perekat dan pelapis. Produk CV. X terdiri dari 5 segmen produk di mana setiap segmen memiliki beberapa jenis produk. Dalam proses produksi, CV. X memiliki fasilitas produksi berupa 5 mesin mixing yang digunakan secara bersama. Beberapa produk yang menggunakan fasilitas produksi yang sama tersebut memiliki pola permintaan yang beragam dan cenderung fluktuatif. Saat ini, perusahaan tidak memiliki sistem perencanaan produksi yang sistematis dan hanya melakukan produksi sesuai dengan pesanan yang diterima. Hal tersebut akan berdampak pada kemampuan perusahaan dalam memenuhi permintaan produk. Fluktuasi permintaan yang terjadi menyebabkan perusahaan harus melakukan penyesuaian kapasitas produksi di mana hal tersebut akan berakibat pada peningkatan biaya produksi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif perencanaan produksi yang memberikan biaya minimum berdasarkan konsep perencanaan agregat. Metode yang digunakan adalah peramalan permintaan dengan metode forecasting sesuai dengan pola data permintaan produk serta tactical planning dengan penyusunan rencana produksi agregat berdasarkan chase strategy, level strategy dan mixed strategy. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rencana produksi jangka menengah dengan mixed strategy sebagai strategi yang memberikan biaya total produksi minimum. Efisiensi biaya yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa penghematan biaya sebesar Rp.1660.094.761 atau setara dengan 57,042% dari kondisi perencanaan produksi eksisting perusahaan. Analisis sensitivitas yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa parameter demand dan biaya inventory memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap biaya total produksi.

CV. X is a national private company that is engaged in the business of adhesive and coating. CV. X’s products consist of 5 product segments, where each segment has several types of products. In the production process, CV. X has production facilities in the form of 5 mixing machines that are used together. Several products that use the same production facility have diverse demand patterns and tend to fluctuate. Currently, the company does not have a systematic production planning system and only produces according to orders received. This will have an impact on the company’s ability to meet product demand. Fluctuations in demand that occur inflict the company must do adjustments in the production capacity which will lead to an increase in the production costs. Therefore, this study aims to provide an alternative production planning that results in minimum production costs based on the concept of aggregate planning. The method used is demand forecasting with suitable forecasting methods according to product demand patterns and aggregate planning by comparing chase strategy, level strategy and mixed strategy. The result of this research is a medium-term production plan with mixed strategy as strategy that provides a minimum total production cost. The cost-efficiency generated in this research is in the form of cost savings of Rp.160.094.761 or equivalent to 57,042% of the company’s existing production planning conditions. The sensitivity analysis performed shows that the parameters of demand and inventory costs have a significant effect on the total costs of productions.
