Abstract

Gudang merupakan salah satu komponen dalam aktivitas supply chain management (SCM) yang berfungsi dalam penerimaan, penyimpanan sementara, perawatan, pemindahan, dan pengiriman. Peran gudang dituntut perubahan cepat yang awalnya hanya sebagai ruangan tempat penyimpanan persediaan, menjadi lebih kompleks, berteknologi, dan terdesentralisasi. PT X merupakan perusahaan industri manufaktur yang bergerak pada bidang industri otomotif dan baterai. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang ada pada Gudang LRMW, yaitu perbedaan jumlah stok yang dan informasi letak material yang kurang informatif. Pada penelitian dijelaskan mengenai penerapan sistem terintegrasi RFID di PT X yang merupakan perusahaan manufaktur baterai otomotif dan industri, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Teknologi RFID yang diterapkan adalah penggunaan RFID tag, reader gate, PDA RFID scaner, dan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi. Perancangan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi pada teknologi RFID dimaksudkan sebagai upaya untuk meminimalisir kemungkinan error yang terjadi dan meningkatkan produktivitas dalam mengelola material. Maka itu dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dari operator gudang dilakukan pula perancangan ulang sistem informasi Epicor yang telah dibuat dan diterapkan oleh Gudang LRMW dan pembuatan rancangan gudang RFID. Dalam melakukan perancangan ulang sistem informasi Epicor dan rancangan gudang RFID diterapkan pula metode User-centered Design. Metode tersebut bertujuan untuk merancang desain yang menjadikan kebutuhan user sebagai titik fokus. Hasil perancangan sistem informasi terintegrasi RFID mampu melakukan aktivitas operasional gudang dengan rata-rata penurunan waktu proses sebesar 94% dari aktivitas operasional gudang manual. Hasil penerapan teknologi RFID juga berpotensi mereduksi waktu proses dalam melakukan aktivitas operasional khusus sebesar 50% - 92%.

Warehouses are one of the components in supply chain management (SCM) activities that function in receiving, temporary storage, maintenance, moving, and shipping. The role of warehouses was demanded by rapid changes, which were originally just a room where supplies were stored, became more complex, technological, and decentralized. PT X is a manufacturing industry company engaged in the automotive and battery industries. There are several problems that exist in the LRMW Warehouse, namely the difference in the number of stocks and the information on the location of the material that is not informative. The study explained the application of the RFID integrated system at PT X which is an automotive and industrial battery manufacturing company, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. The RFID technology applied is the use of RFID tags, reader gates, PDA RFID scaners, and integrated information systems. The design of an integrated information system in RFID technology is intended as an effort to minimize the possibility of errors that occur and increase productivity in managing materials. Therefore, in increasing the productivity of warehouse operators, the redesign of the Epicor information system that has been made and implemented by the LRMW Warehouse and the creation of an RFID warehouse design are also carried out. In redesigning the Epicor information system and the RFID warehouse design, the User-centered Design method is also applied. The method aims to design a design that makes the user's needs the focal point. The results of the design of an RFID integrated information system are able to carry out warehouse operational activities with an average decrease in processing time by 94% from manual warehouse operational activities. The results of the application of RFID technology also have the potential to reduce the process time in carrying out special operational activities by 50% - 92%.
