Abstract

Perusahaan Manufaktur Pipa Baja (PMPB) merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi pipa baja dan pelapisan anti korosi terintegrasi di Indonesia. PMPB telah tersertifikasi meliputi manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2015 yang menjadi pedoman perusahaan dalam membuat pipa, serta ISO 45001:2018, dan ISO 14001:2015 pada Kebijakan, Kesehatan, Keselamatan Kerja dan Lingkungan (K3LL) yang merupakan aspek penting yang harus dipenuhi oleh setiap pelaksana kegiatan usaha oil and gas. PMPB sering dihadapi masalah inefisiensi pemakaian material akibat defect produk sehingga production yield sering tidak mencapai target. Defect produk yang diproduksi dapat menimbulkan limbah hingga 1253,09 ton yang tercatat pada 1 tahun terakhir. Limbah non B3 pada industri besi dan baja dapat berpotensi meningkatkan daya saing industri baja. Pengolahan limbah yang tidak dapat disimpan atau dibuang ini dapat memberikan manfaat dari sisi ekonomi dan lingkungan. Konsep circular economy dan lean manufacturing saling melengkapi menjawab masalah lingkungan untuk menciptakan value dan memperoleh sistem yang lebih efisien. Berdasarkan penyusunan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) diketahui workstation yang memiliki tingkat konsumsi material paling tinggi terletak pada mesin cutting, dan letak workstation dengan defect rate paling tinggi terdapat pada workstation welding. Serta berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh current Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) produk pipa baja oil and gas PMPB adalah 0,13 yang artinya aliran material sudah tidak sepenuhnya linear. Untuk meningkatkan eco-efficiency dan circular economy, usalan perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan membuat jadwal pengecekan atau maintenance yang dapat dipatuhi oleh operator sehingga defect rate menjadi 23,1%, Pemanfaatan limbah pembuatan pipa menjadi 26,7% pada pembuatan tiang besi untuk kebutuhan bangunan dengan tingkat efisiensi recycle 70% sehingga MCI menjadi 0,22, dan dilakukan peleburan scrap baja untuk penggunaan pada komponen konstruksi dan lainnya dengan tingkat efisiensi recycle sebesar 100% yang diperoleh MCI menjadi 0,32.

Steel Pipe Manufacturing Company (PMPB) is a manufacturing company that produces steel pipes and integrated anti-corrosion coatings in Indonesia. PMPB is often faced with the problem of inefficiency in the use of materials due to product defects so that the production yield often does not reach the target. Product defects produced can cause waste of up to 1253.09 tons which was recorded in the last 1 year. Non-B3 waste in the iron and steel industry can potentially increase the competitiveness of the steel industry. The treatment of waste that cannot be stored or disposed of can provide economic and environmental benefits. The concepts of circular economy and lean manufacturing complement each other to answer environmental problems to create value and obtain a more efficient system. Based on the preparation of Value Stream Mapping (VSM), it is known that the workstation that has the highest level of material consumption is located on the cutting machine, and the location of the workstation with the highest defect rate is on the welding workstation. And based on the calculations, the current Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) of PMPB oil and gas steel pipe products is 0.13, which means that the material flow is not completely linear. To improve eco-efficiency and circular economy, proposed improvements that can be made are by making a check or maintenance schedule that can be obeyed by the operator so that the defect rate becomes 23.1%, Utilization of pipe manufacturing waste becomes 26.7% in the manufacture of iron poles for household needs. building with a recycle efficiency level of 70% so that the MCI becomes 0.22, and steel scrap is smelted for use in construction components and others with a recycle efficiency level of 100% which MCI obtains is 0.32.
