Abstract

Risks that exist in one possible outcome does not necessarily exist in other possible outcome. The uncertainty of events is what makes risk management so important. With the pandemic of COVID-19, it opens a new door towards new unpredictable risks for all kinds of business. The pandemic itself was already a big happening that impacts the whole world, the secondary impact of the pandemic itself is even bigger. The uncertainties of these impacts are what is called risk. These new uncertainties which are results from the pandemic make risk management as one of the most sought-after services. PT. XYZ is a courier service company which already has branches all over Indonesia. One of the services that PT. XYZ has to offer is the same day delivery service. With the high demand and pandemic creating a whole new uncertainty in the market, it is important for PT. XYZ to prepare for the uncertainties. Hence, it is important for courier service companies to implement risk management, especially in their same day delivery service. In this study, the House of Risk (HOR) model is used to analyze supply chain risk for courier service company, specifically the same day delivery services. In order to perform risk management, specifically the supply chain risk management, it is important to identify the business process available in the same day delivery service. These processes are defined using the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) terminology. This study therefore, set out to design a supply chain risk management model for same day delivery service at courier service company with House of Risk (HOR) model.

Risiko yang ada pada satu dampak aktivitas belum tentu ada pada dampak aktivitas lainnya. Ketidakpastian peristiwa inilah yang membuat manajemen risiko menjadi begitu penting. Dengan adanya pandemi COVID-19, menjadi sebuah pintu baru menuju risiko baru yang tidak terduga untuk semua jenis bisnis. Pandemi sendiri sudah menjadi kejadian besar yang berdampak ke seluruh dunia, dampak secara tidak langsung dari pandemi pun lebih besar lagi. Ketidakpastian inilah yang disebut dengan risiko. Ketidakpastian baru yang muncul akibat pandemi ini menjadikan manajemen risiko sebagai salah satu manajemen yang paling dicari. PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan jasa kurir yang sudah memiliki cabang di seluruh Indonesia. Salah satu layanan yang PT. XYZ yang ditawarkan adalah layanan same day delivery. Dengan tingginya demand dan pandemi yang menciptakan ketidakpastian baru di pasar, penting bagi PT. XYZ bersiap menghadapi ketidakpastian. Sehingga, penting bagi perusahaan jasa kurir yang ada untuk menerapkan manajemen risiko, khususnya pada layanan same day delivery. Dalam penelitian ini, model House of Risk (HOR) digunakan untuk menganalisis risiko rantai pasok pada perusahaan jasa kurir, khususnya pada layanan same day delivery. Untuk melakukan manajemen risiko, khususnya manajemen risiko rantai pasok, penting untuk mengidentifikasi proses bisnis yang tersedia di layanan pengiriman hari yang sama. Proses ini didefinisikan menggunakan terminologi Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model manajemen risiko rantai pasok untuk layanan same day delivery di perusahaan jasa kurir dengan model House of Risk (HOR).
