Abstract

Globalisasi yang saat ini terjadi mendorong perkembangan pasar dan bisnis untuk bergerak sangat kompetitif dan membuat persaingan bisnis semakin kompleks. Kesiapan perusahaan dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompleks tersebut menjadi hal yang patut diperhatikan di mana salah satunya adalah untuk mempersiapkan sistem informasi dalam perusahaan. Sistem informasi memiliki peranan penting yang dapat memberikan nilai kompetitif bagi bisnis. Finance and accounting merupakan salah satu functional areas dalam tipe sistem informasi utama organisasi yang lahir dari kebutuhan untuk memastikan manajemen keuangan yang efisien dan koordinasi dalam kontrol keuangan agar dapat mendukung semua kegiatan bisnis. Pentingnya kehadiran sistem informasi dalam finance and accounting pada aktivitas bisnis perusahaan diterapkan juga oleh perusahaan di Indonesia, salah satunya oleh PT PJB Services yang memiliki aplikasi account receivable settlement invoice payment yang bernama AR-SIP. Aplikasi ini merupakan aplikasi yang paling sering digunakan oleh PT PJB Services. Namun dalam pelaksanaanya, penggunaan aplikasi ini masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan dan dibangun tidak menggunakan pengetahuan User Interface dan User Experience (UI/UX) yang menyebabkan usability dari aplikasi ini belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis usability pada aplikasi dan memberikan rekomendasi berupa rancangan user interface. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang yang merupakan pegawai dari divisi keuangan dan non-keuangan. Karakteristik pegawai dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu sudah berpengalaman dan belum berpengalaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah usability metrics untuk mengetahui performansi partisipan, Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) untuk mengetahui kepuasan partisipan terhadap aplikasi, dan Enhanced Cognitive Walkthrough (ECW) untuk menganalisis lebih lanjut permasalahan usability yang ada pada aplikasi AR-SIP. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk keseluruhan usability metrics didapatkan hasil task 1 memiliki performansi paling tinggi dan task 5 memiliki performansi paling rendah. PSSUQ menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan partisipan baik dari penggunaan sistem, informasi, interface, maupun keseluruhan masih perlu diperbaiki. Setelah dianalisis lebih lanjut dengan ECW, hasil menunjukkan bahwa setiap task memiliki permasalahan bervariasi berdasarkan kombinasi yang ada pada matrix yang dilihat dari kepentingan tugas, keseriusan masalah, tipe permasalahan, dan nomor tasknya.

Current globalization stimulates the growth of markets and businesses to move very competitively and makes business competition more complex. The company's readiness to face increasingly complex business competition is something that deserves attention, one of which is to prepare business information systems. Information systems have an essential role that can provide competitive value for businesses. Finance and accounting is one of the functional areas in an organization's key information system arising from the need to ensure efficient financial management and coordination in financial control to support all business activities. The importance of the presence of information systems in finance and accounting in the company's business activities is no exception also applied by companies in Indonesia, one of which is PT PJB Services. PT PJB Services has an account receivable settlement invoice payment application called AR-SIP. This application is the most frequently used application by PT PJB Services. However, in practice, there are still some issues with this application's usability because it was not designed with User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) approach, so the usability of this application is not optimal. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate and analyze the application's usability and provide recommendations in the form of user interface design. Twenty workers from the financial and non-financial divison participated in this study. There are two categories of employee characteristics: experienced and inexperienced. The method used in the research is usability metrics, Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ), and Enhanced Cognitive Walkthrough (ECW). Usability metrics to determine participant performance, PSSUQ to assess participant satisfaction with the application, and ECW to further analyze usability problems in the AR-SIP application. The results of the study indicate that for the overall usability metrics, it is found that task 1 has the highest performance and task 5 has the lowest performance and PSSUQ shows that participant satisfaction from the use of the system, information, interface, and overall needs to be improved. After further analysis with ECW, the results show that each task has various problems based on the combination of the matrix, which is seen from the task's importance, the problem's seriousness, the problem type, and the task number
