Abstract

Mesin Karting Club ITS merupakan tim balap gokart yang dinaungi oleh Lembaga Bengkel Mahasiswa Mesin ITS. Pada kegiatan operasionalnya, terdapat tiga kegiatan yang memiliki tingkat kesalahan manusia yang besar yaitu kegiatan sebelum perlombaan, kegiatan saat perlombaan, dan kegiatan setelah perlombaan. Contoh dari kesalahan manusia dari kegiatan tersebut adalah kegagalan pekerja dalam memasang tuas transmisi pada mobil gokart. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan mobil gokart tidak dapat berjalan dan dapat menyebabkan tim gagal dalam mengikuti perlombaan. Kesalahan manusia pada proses kompetisi balap mobil yang dievaluasi pada Mesin Karting Club adalah kesalahan pekerja dan kegagalan fungsi pengawasan. Penelitian ini melakukan evaluasi keandalan manusia pada kegiatan operasional tim Mesin Karting Club ITS. Penilaian dan analisis keandalan manusia dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Cognitive Reliability and Error Analysis (CREAM). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada manajemen tim Mesin Karting Club dalam upaya meningkatkan keandalan operator. Berdasarkan perhitungan diketahui bahwa terdapat 20 pekerjaan yang memiliki nilai cognitive failure probability diatas 0,1 yang menunjukan bahwa probabilitas terjadinya human error pada pekerjaan tersebut melebihi batas interval probabilitas terjadinya human error pada control mode. Pekerjaan tersebut terdiri dari kegiatan kognitif seperti verify, regulate, dan scan. Kegagalan pekerjaan dengan kegiatan kognitif verify disebabkan oleh kegagalan pekerja dalam memahami keadaan suatu sistem. Kegagalan pekerjaan dengan kegiatan kognitif regulate disebabkan kegagalan pekerja dalam mengatur sebuah sistem untuk mencapai kondisi ideal. Kegagalan pekerjaan dengan kegiatan kognitif scan disebabkan oleh kegagalan pekerja dalam menginterpretasikan keadaan objek dan kelalaian pekerja yang melewatkan suatu tahapan kerja. Diketahui pula terdapat dua faktor yang dapat menurunkan keandalan manusia berdasarkan penilaian common performance condition yaitu working condition dan availability of procedures/plans. Standard operational procedures, checklist persiapan perlombaan, perbaikan tata letak, penggunaan peralatan kerja baru, penyuluhan dan sharing session, dan implementasi kaidah 5S merupakan rekomendasi perbaikan yang diberikan untuk dapat menurunkan probabilitas terjadinya kesalahan manusia.

Mesin Karting Club ITS is a kart racing team that is sheltered by Lembaga Bengkel Mahasiswa Mesin ITS. In its operational activities, there are three activities that have a high level of human error, namely activities before the competition, activities during the competition, and activities after the race. An example of human error from this activity is the failure of workers to install the transmission lever on a kart car. This can result in the kart not being able to run and can cause the team to fail in participating in the race. Human errors in the process of car racing competitions that are evaluated on the Karting Club Machine are worker errors and supervisory malfunctions. This study evaluates human reliability in the operational activities of the ITS Karting Club Engine team. Assessment and analysis of human reliability are carried out using the Cognitive Reliability and Error Analysis (CREAM) method. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the management of Mesin Karting Club ITS to improve operator reliability. Based on data processing, it is known that there are two factors that can reduce human reliability based on the assessment of common performance conditions, namely working conditions and availability of procedures/plans. Based on the calculation, it is known that there are 20 jobs that have a cognitive failure probability value above 0.1, which indicates that the probability of human error on the job exceeds the human error probability interval limit in control mode. The work consists of cognitive activities such as verifying, regulating, and scanning. Job failure with cognitive verify activities is caused by the failure of workers to understand the state of a system. The failure of work with cognitive activities to regulate is caused by the failure of workers to regulate a system to achieve ideal conditions. The failure of work with cognitive scan activities is caused by the failure of workers to interpret the state of the object and the negligence of workers who skip a stage of work. Standard operational procedures, race preparation checklists, layout improvements, the use of new work equipment, counseling and sharing sessions, and implementation of the 5S rules are recommendations for improvement given to reduce the probability of human error.
