Abstract

As one of the main pillars in the country's economic development, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are able to prove their resilience when an economic crisis occurs. Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, the contribution of MSMEs to GDP is 61.97% or worth 8,573.89 trillion rupiah. Even so, with the pandemic that has hit Indonesia and also the whole world, it is undeniable that MSMEs have also been severely affected. In addition to the impact of the pandemic, many MSMEs still have not implemented strategic management, which results in a lack of MSMEs reaching their potential. CV Mulya Pratama Indah is a family owned MSME engaged in furniture located in Cirebon. Even though it has marketed its products overseas, CV Mulya Pratama Indah still uses a conventional management system, and measurements are only based on the financial aspect. Therefore, CV Mulya Pratama Indah's corporate strategy was formulated based on the TOWS matrix and also designed a performance measurement system that refers to the Balanced Scorecard to balance financial and non-financial aspects. During this research, the position of CV Mulya Pratama Indah that refers to IE Matrix is obtained by weighting and scoring the internal and external factor that may influence the business operation of CV Mulya Pratama Indah, which according to the IE Matrix, CV Mulya Pratama Indah is located in the grow & build quadrant. It also obtained 7 strategy objectives based on the Balanced Scorecard and also 12 Key Performance Indicator which acted as the measure of success for the Strategy Objectives. The majority of the strategy objectives in the balanced scorecard are relevant to the aim of grow and build that the IE Matrix propose for a company that located in quadrant 1.
