Abstract

Sistem Header Pada Pipa – merupakan sistem instalasi pipa yang terdiri dari pipa utama yang nantinya menghubungkan ke pipa pengeluaran dari pipa pengeluaran selanjutnya dihubungkan ke jaringan pipa distribusi.biasanya jaringan utama lebih besar daripada pipa distribusi, yang ukurannya lebih kecil yang dimana tujuannya untuk membagi tekanan agar debit air di setiap titik pipa sama tekanannya. dalam instalasinya pipa header memiliki belokan 90˚ yang dimana terbagi menjadi beberapa belokan tergantung dengan distribusi pipa header tersebut yang dimana peneliti distribusi pipa pada Cooling System Tank. Variabel yang tidak diteliti tapi dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil penelitian (variablekontrol) antara lain : ukuran diameter pipa (m), luas pipa (m2), dan debit air (m3/dt). Pengambilan data untuk mengukur rugi aliran pada penelitian ini adalah dengan cara mengukur dengan menggunakan Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD untuk mengetahui debit air, kecepatan aliran, besar rugi aliran. Hasil pengukuran tersebut dianalisa dengan menggunakan rumus teoritis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya belokanakan mengakibatkan rugi aliran (Headloss).

Pipe Header System – is a pipe installation system consisting of a main pipe which will later connect to the discharge pipe from the outlet pipe which is then connected to the distribution pipe network. Usually the main network is larger than the distribution pipe, which is smaller in size where the aim is to divide the pressure so that The water discharge at each point of the pipe has the same pressure. In the installation, the header pipe has a 90 bend which is divided into several turns depending on the distribution of the header pipe, which is where the researcher distributes the pipe on the Cooling System Tank. Variables that were not studied but could affect the results of the study (control variables) include: pipe diameter size (m), pipe area (m2), and water discharge (m3/sec). Data retrieval to measure flow loss in this study is by measuring it using Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD to determine the water flow rate, flow velocity, and the amount of flow loss. The measurement results were analyzed using a theoretical formula. The result of this research is the presence of bends results in ( Head loss).
