Abstract

Kebutuhan akan efisiensi energi dan aspek estetika pada bangunan modern terus mengalami peningkatan seiring berkembangnya industri manufaktur kaca. Salah satu jenis kaca yang banyak digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut adalah kaca low-emissivity (low-E). PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk, sebagai salah satu perusahaan industri kaca terbesar di Indonesia, turut berperan dalam menyediakan solusi tersebut melalui produk unggulannya, yaitu kaca Sunergy SNFL 6 mm, yang dirancang khusus untuk bangunan modern. Konsistensi produk agar memenuhi standar kualitas yang ketat menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi perusahaan sementara perusahaan belum menerapkan pengendalian kualitas yang mampu mendeteksi variasi secara bersamaan dalam waktu periode produksi yang terbatas. Pengendalian kualitas yang dapat dilakukan untuk menganalisis beberapa karakteristik kualitas yang saling dependen adalah dan Multivariate Coefficient of Variation (MCV) dan Multivariat Short Run, diagram Ishikawa, dan FMEA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi kapabel secara statistik, tetapi masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian disebabkan oleh ketidaktelitian operator saat setting parameter mesin, performa mesin, spray coating tidak sesuai, bahan baku yang tidak homogen, dan kelembapan ruangan yang memengaruhi proses produksi. Sedangkan prioritas paling tinggi berasal dari ketidaktepatan metode penyemprotan dan pengendalian temperatur mesin tidak homogen.

The demand for energy efficiency and aesthetic aspects in modern buildings continues to increase in line with the development of the glass manufacturing industry. One type of glass that is widely used to meet these needs is low-emissivity (low-E) glass. PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk, as one of the largest glass manufacturing companies in Indonesia, plays a role in providing these solutions through its flagship product, Sunergy SNFL 6 mm glass, which is specifically designed for modern buildings. Maintaining product consistency to meet strict quality standards is a challenge for the company, as it has not yet implemented quality control measures capable of detecting variations simultaneously within a limited production period. Quality control methods that can be used to analyse several interdependent quality characteristics include Multivariate Coefficient of Variation (MCV) and Multivariate Short Run, Ishikawa diagrams, and FMEA. The results of the study show that the production process is statistically capable, but there are still discrepancies caused by operator inaccuracy when setting machine parameters, machine performance, inappropriate spray coating, non-homogeneous raw materials, and room humidity that affects the production process. Meanwhile, the highest priority comes from the inaccuracy of the spraying method and non-homogeneous machine temperature control.
