Abstract
Sistem pendingin pada kapal ikan memiliki berbagai macam jenis dan setiap jenisnya memiliki keunggulan dan keterbatasan masing-masing. Sebagai sistem utama dalam menjaga kualitas ikan saat berlayar, pemilihan penggunaan sistem pendingin yang optimal untuk kapal ikan penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemilihan ersebut dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Melalu metode tersebut, sistem dinilai melalui bobot dari kriteria teknis, operasional, refrigerant, dan ekonomis. Kriteria ekonomis menjadi kriteria dengan bobot paling penting yaitu sebesar 0,346.. Kriteria lainnya yakni refrigerant dengan bobot 0,286, kriteria operasional dengan bobot 0,219, dan kriteria teknis dengan bobot 0,149. Hasilnya, sistem Air Blast Freezer (ABF) dipilih sebagai sistem pendingin terbaik dengan nilai 0,377, mengungguli dua sistem lainnya yakni sistem RSW dengan nilai 0,333 dan sistem adsorpsi dengan nilai 0,29. Kemudian, desain sistem ABF diaplikasikan pada Kapal Long Liner 60 GT dengan menampilkan tiga skenario desain. Skenario desain pertama merupakan kombinasi sistem ABF dan sistem pendinginan es balok. Skenario desain kedua merupakan kombinasi sistem ABF dan Cold Storage dengan susunan sistem terpisah. Dan skenario desain ketiga merupakan kombinasi sistem ABF dan Cold Storage dengan susunan sistem parallel.

There are various types of fishing boat cooling systems and each type has its own advantages and limitations. As the main system in maintaining the quality of fish on board, it is important to choose the optimal cooling system for fishing vessels. This study aims to make the selection using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Through this method, the system is assessed based on technical, operational, refrigerant, and economic criteria. Economic criteria is the criterion with the most important weight, which is 0.346. Other criteria are refrigerant with a weight of 0.286, operational criteria with a weight of 0.219, and technical criteria with a weight of 0.149. As a result, the Air Blast Freezer (ABF) system was chosen as the best cooling system with a value of 0.377, outperforming two other systems, the RSW system with a value of 0.333 and the adsorption system with a value of 0.29. Then the ABF system design was applied to the Long Liner 60 GT by presenting three design scenarios. The first design scenario is a combination of the ABF system and ice cooling system. The second design scenario is a combination of ABF and Cold Storage systems with a separate system arrangement. And the third design scenario is a combination of ABF and Cold Storage systems with a parallel system arrangement.
