Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membawa perubahan besar pada perkembangan teknologi aplikasi yang diharapakan dapat membantu individu dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Manusia sebagai pengguna teknologi aplikasi memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan suatu teknologi aplikasi baru. Keberhasilan manusia dalam penggunaan teknologi aplikasi harus didukung oleh tersedianya system support. System support memiliki peran pengontrolan interaksi pengguna agar kemampuan teknis pengguna dan karakteristik teknologi dapat digunakan secara maksimal untuk pencapaian tujuan. Tersedianya system support diakui sebagai aspek penting yang mempengaruhi tingkat computer self-efficacy seseorang dalam penggunaan teknologi. Computer self-efficacy memainkan peran kunci dalam keputusan penggunaan teknologi dan memudahkan untuk mengolah keterampilan-keterampilan yang terkait dengan efektivitas penggunaan teknologi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan perbandingan system support (tutorial, simulasi, fungsi bantuan) terhadap tingkat computer self-efficacyuntukmeningkatkan efektivitas dalam penggunaan teknologi aplikasi baru.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengujian langsung kepada 160 pelajar yang belum pernah menggunakan aplikasi e-learning (tutorial, simulasi, fungsi bantuan). Penggalian data untuk system support dan computer self-efficacy menggunakan kuisioner. Penggalian data untuk efektivitas menggunakan penilaiaan tugas dan kuisioner.
Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa system support terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat computer self-efficacy dan efektivitas dalam penggunaan teknologi aplikasi baru.Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa model simulasi dan model fungsi bantuan terbukti berpengaruh positif dansignifikan, sedangkan model tutorial berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat computer self-efficacy dan efektivitas dalam penggunaan teknologi aplikasi baru. Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dijadikan tambahan referensi bagi para pengembang perangkat lunak untuk lebih fokus mengembangkan fungsi bantuan dan simulasi untuk dapat meningkatkan computer self-efficacy dan efektivitas dalam penggunaan aplikasi baru. Pengembangan fungsi bantuan dan simulasi diharapkan dapat membantu untuk mengotimalkan sumber daya (waktu, uang, dan manusia) yang dimiliki.

Developments in information technology resulted in profound changes in the development of application technology that is expected to assist individuals in various fields of life. Human as makers and users of application technology has an important role to use of an application technology. Human achievement in the use of technology application must be supported by the availability of system support. System support has a role to control the user interaction order to the technical capabilities of users and characteristics of the technology can be used optimally for the completion of tasks. Availability of a support system is recognized as an important aspect that affects the user level of computer self-efficacy in the use of technology. Computer self-efficacy has a role in the decision to use the technology and make it easier to process skills that are related to the effectiveness of the use of technology.
This study aims to determine the effect and comparison system support (tutorials, simulations, help function) to the level of computer self-efficacy to improve effectiveness in the use of new application technologies. Retrieving data for system support and computer self-efficacy using a questionnaire. Retrieving data for effectiveness using penilaiaan tasks and questionnaires.
The result of this study provide that the system support significant and impact positive on the level of computer self-efficacy and effectiveness in the use of new application technologies. The results of this study will also provide that simulation dan help-function proved positive and significant effect on the level of computer self-efficacy and effectiveness in the use of new application technologies. The results of the study can be used as an additional reference for software developers to focus on developing functions of assistance and computer simulations to improve self-efficacy and effectiveness in the use of new applications. Development help function and simulation is expected to help to optimize the resources (time, money, and human).
