Abstract
Industri hijab printing dituntut untuk menghasilkan produk dengan kualitas yang konsisten seiring meningkatnya permintaan pasar. Namun, pada proses produksi hijab printing di “Naylareza Hijab” masih ditemukan tingkat cacat yang menyebabkan proses produksi belum mampu memenuhi batas spesifikasi cacat yang pada ditetapkan perusahaan sebesar 2%.Permasalahan ini menunjukkan perlunya penerapan sistem pengendalian kualitas yang terukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi proporsi cacat pada proses produksi hijab printing serta menganalisis karakteristik dan kapabilitas proses dalam memenuhi batas spesifikasi kualitas yang telah ditetapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Six Sigma dengan pendekatan DMAIC. Dengan analisis kapabilitas proses dapat diidentifikasi bahwa pada Fase I yaitu bulan September 2025, proses produksi hijab printing belum kapabel karena walaupun proses terkendali secara statistik dengan rata-rata proporsi cacat sebesar 1,1% tetapi Indeks kapabilitas proses (Cp) hanya mencapai 0,652, masih kurang dari 1. Pada tahap improve dilakukan perubahan SOP dan peneguran terhadap pemasok kain. Kegiatan improve yang dilakukan ini dihasilkan bahwa proses produksi hijab printing telah kapabel karena proses terkendali dengan rata-rata proporsi cacat sebesar 0,5% dan indeks Cp meningkat menjadi 1,767.

The hijab printing industry is required to produce products with consistent quality in line with increasing market demand, yet in the production process at “Naylareza Hijab” defects are still found, causing the process to fall short of the company’s defect specification limit of 2%, which highlights the need for a measurable quality control system; this study aims to reduce the proportion of defects in the hijab printing production process and to analyze the characteristics and process capability in meeting the established quality specifications using the Six Sigma DMAIC approach, and through process capability analysis it was identified that in Phase I, conducted in September 2025, the hijab printing production process was not capable because although the process was statistically controlled with an average defect proportion of 1.1%, the process capability index (Cp) was only 0.652, which is less than 1, while in the Improve stage changes were made to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and corrective actions were taken against fabric suppliers, resulting in a capable process with statistical control, a reduced average defect proportion of 0.5%, and an increased Cp index of 1.767.
